After touring Durham, I fell in love with it. I am about to tour Morganton soon but I really don't know which campus to pick. A dangerous parasitic space fungus locked away in a military base turned self-storage finds its way out of containment, making for an absolutely crazy night shift. COLD STORAGE was a pleasant surprise. I went in not expecting too much, and it turned out to be a pretty good one. The movie is relatively simplistic but has a good story that kept me locked in right from the start. There’s a couple laughs, some fun unexpected moments, and some gross-looking effects that totally deliver on the grotesque, decaying, fungal chaos. For the most part, the visuals look awesome and never take you out of the vibe. Liam Neeson was a fun inclusion, bringing some seriousness to the movie, although the whole back-issues thing was pretty funny. Joe Keery and Georgina Campbell worked well together as our two leads. I will say that this movie had the weirdest biker gang I had ever seen. COLD STORAGE definitely caught me off guard with how much I enjoyed myself watching it. Hello! I’ve posted here before but I’m 16F and I’m looking for a reenactment group in the New England area (like Massachusetts/Rhode Island or around there) that would let me participate in battles as a medic? Just to be clear, I mean letting me portray a standard male medic, not a nurse. I would tuck my hair up and whatever else is necessary so I’m not recognized as a girl. I’ve never reenacted before but I’m happy to learn. I’m hugely into ww2/war history in general, so no issue there, I’m just not terribly familiar with gear and standard reenacting procedures so I’d need to learn there. I’d be open to German or American groups, I’d just like if there were some people somewhat around my age. (Also to clarify- I absolutely recognize and appreciate women’s roles in ww2. I find them really interesting and love to learn about them. I just want to be able to take part in the battles!! I would love to do a red army impression of an infantry woman or sniper but I’ve never heard of or seen any groups doing that, at least locally)

I’ll try and keep this short and simple. This post will be vague on details to protect everyone anonymity. I (46) have been with my partner (41m) for 19 years. We have 3 children. 18 months ago we went through a particularly rough patch and separated for a short period. My partner, let’s call him John. Has worked in the same place for 7 years. He is well liked and very good at his job and I have always been very proud of him. My biggest issue is that I don’t particularly like his choice of friends. They tend to be quite toxic, love drama and will often be very two faced. One in particularly, I’ve always had some issue with. A woman who he works with, let’s call her Claire (26f) works in the same company as him. She’s quite immature and very selfish. Previously she had an affair with a married man who turned out to be very abusive and manipulative to her. I felt some sympathy cause she genuinely was manipulated by him into an abusive relationship. But I had severe with the fact that during this, she was friends with the man’s wife whilst she was pregnant and even spent time at their house. This made me extremely wary around her and distrustful. But as she works in the same company as my partner I was cordial and polite with her. When my partner and I were apart, it was maybe a couple months. After we decided we did very much love eachother and decided to try again. Things have been good. We got married 10 months ago. Since we got back together though, Claire has been around a lot, amongst many other friends. My partner always said he saw her as like a little sister even said how he could never find her attractive, how she sometimes got on his nerves and they had various arguments at work. He knew I had reservations about their friendship but with the age difference and the fact they both insisted it was platonic. I had even asked them both if anything had ever happened between them or if they had a thing for eachother to which both insisted no. I let it go and have never had any reason to be uncomfortable. We became more friendly, she helped organise my bachelorette party and even attended my wedding. But a month ago, someone in the company told me that something had happened between them whilst we were apart. As it turned out, they had shared a drunken kiss on night out whilst we were apart. I felt angry. Hurt and a bit betrayed. Whilst I understand we weren’t together and bid no control over what he did in the time we were apart. The fact she was apart of our shared lives since we got back together, and the fact they both told me nothing has ever happened between them. I’m Struggling with a lot. Cause if it truly was nothing, why lie about it right? Since then, I’ve said I’m uncomfortable with their friendship. Her history, coupled with their lie. Makes me distrustful. Would I be the Ahole if I asked him to go no contact outside of work with her? To not socialise with her? To put in strong boundaries with a woman he clearly didn’t fully see platonic. EDIT…. I’ll also add that I’m hurt that she attended our wedding. I loved my wedding day. It was perfect. We had a small intimate wedding. We only invited a few friends and their partners. But my husband wanted to invite her too. And I now feel like my wedding day is tarnished cause I feel like it was inappropriate she was even there. She came alone.

Depresija me že ves mesec trdno drži v svojih kleščah. Ne hodim več na Metelkovo. Nikamor več ne hodim. Ves čas sem zaprta doma in samo Beavis & Butthead mi prinašata malo dobre volje čez dan. Tudi Janeze (stranke) zelo redko sprejmem na obisk. Spet sem začela občasno snifat kokakolo in kadit čike. Kljub temu, da imam avto z vinjeto in polnim tankom se nikamor ne vozim. Kam pa naj grem? Nimam pojma. Samo babico vozim v trgovino in včasih k maši kjer sedim zraven nje ob rožnem vencu samo zato, da bo vesela v svojih zadnjih dneh pri 90 letih. Saj vem, da hiše ne bo dala meni. Denar je pa že pred leti razdelila naokrog in bila sem deležna 10 jurjev s katerimi sem pozneje šla stran od doma in krepko razočarala njena visoka pričakovanja. Tako sem torej v Torek, 13. Oktobra zvečer sedela za kompom in jedla steak sendvič, ko mi je zazvonil telefon in nisem mogla vrjet kdo me je klical. Kot prostitutka srečam vse različne tipe ljudi in Miki je eden od tistih legendarnih tipov tako kot gospod Blazkowitz. To pomeni, da je kul, ima debelo denarnico, vestno uporablja kondome in rad snifa kokakolo kar pomeni, da nikoli ne sexava. Tudi strip klub rad obišče v mojem spremstvu. Zdaj pa sem spet dobre volje. Dobila bom lep kupček gotovine, pa še v strip klub bova šla! Najs! Miki je prišel, plačal 240€ za prvo rundo, zategnil eno krepko špuro kokakole in njegova salama je hitro ohlapela v mojih ustih. Hihi, spet ne bo treba fukat! Ez money! Tako sem ga malo fafala, malo sva se pogovarjala, malo mi je govoril o svojih spolnih dogodivščinah in malo je snifal krepke špure kokakole. Vmes mi je plačal še dodatne runde in nabrala sem kar lep kupček gotovine. Če bo šlo tako naprej bom lahko plačala najemnino brez, da razbijem svojega prašička. Miki je zelo užival v moji družbi, ampak je bil kar malo zafrustriran čez ohlapnost svoje salame, ker je res imel željo, da pofuka mojo prekrasno femboy luliko. Ali kako se že po slovensko reče bussy? Buttpussy – ritolulika? Ritopička? Eh, saj ni važno. Važno je, da se je Miki spomnil, da ima v avtu tisto modro tabletko za trdno salamo, ampak jaz v momentu nisem bila najbolj razpoložena za sex v rito in sem predlagala, da greva raje najprej v Trdojederni klub. Miki pa je imel pomisleke. "Misliš, da bova dobila kakšno punco za sex tam?" me je vprašal, "Vedno rečejo ne.." "Lej, Miki," sem rekla, "to je vse odvisno od dneva. Nikoli ne veš katera punca bo danes delala in se zagledala vate. Če ne reskeraš, ne profitiraš." To so bile seveda bučke. Jaz dobro vem, da so punce v Trdojedernem klubu preveč fine, da bi vzele 500€ za sex. Sej, zakaj bi pa sexale če lahko samo pokažejo luliko in dobijo skoraj enako količino denarja kot jaz dobim, da ga vzamem v rito? Striptizete nimajo pojma kako preprosta je njihova služba pa tudi če kdaj dobijo naporne stranke. Ali pa zelo dobro vejo in zviška gledajo na prostitutke. Kaj pa vem.. vem samo to, da sem vedno hotla bit striptizeta. Ubistvu še vedno hočem bit striptizeta. Ampak femboyi pač ne moramo bit striptizete. Vsaj ne v sloveniji. Zato pa pušim kurac in v mislih jebem mater striptizetam vsakič, ko imam v riti kakšno široko salamo od Janeza, ki me agresivno pritiska z glavo ob posteljo in noče svršit. Ja, svršit. Ena od dveh besed, ki sem jih pobrala od bosancev in dodala v svoj besednjak. Kakorkoli že, z Mikjem sva vstopila v klub in razgledala sem se naokrog. Same lepe punce. Latine, blonde, latine.. težka odločitev bo. Vsedla sva se za mizo in naročila sem jegra, potem pa pogledala v kot in opazila eno res posebno punco, ki mi je sprožila naval nenavadnih čustev, ker je bila na las podobna Nikiti, moji bivši punci. Ampak to ni ona. Samo en tatu vidim na njej. Nikita jih ima celo galerijo. Torej je matematično nemogoče, da je to ona. Ampak holy shit, res zgleda kot ona. Ampak ni ona. Ampak zgleda kot ona. Nisem mogla obrnit pogleda stran od nje in začutila sem nekaj česar ne znam opisat z besedami. Ta občutek mi je enkrat prej že dala striptizeta Mara, ki mi je večkrat dala zastonj lap dance, nastavila rito iz katere sem posnifala črtico kokakole potem pa me je prosila za mojo telefonsko in me večkrat povabila k sebi domov na obisk. Enkrat je šef opazil, da mi dela zastonj lap dance in je dobila kazen. Ampak Mara je zgodba za drugič. Moj notranji glas se je prebudil in odločno rekel: "Lexi! Ti boš spila še enga jegra, potem boš pa pristopila do tiste punce in rekla, hello there!" "Hello there" je pozdrav, ki ga uporabim takrat, ko se zares počutim samozavestno. Pravzaprav je to pozdrav, ki ga uporabljam specifično samo takrat, ko pristopim do lepe punce. Torej je to pozdrav, ki ga uporabim specifično samo takrat, ko pristopim do striptizete, ker si ne upam pristopit do nobene punce, ki ni striptizeta. Ampak tista doppelganger Nikita je striptizeta! Torej, spijem še enga jegra, potem pa pristopim do nje in ji dam dvajestaka za modrček! Tako kot bi se spet srečala z eno drugo Maro v drugem klubu! Ampak ni mi uspelo naročit še enga jegra preden je tista punca zapičila pogled vame in se kar naenkrat pojavila pred mano. Tudi tatuji so se kar naenkrat pojavili na njej. Ampak sej to ni Nikita. Ne no.. fak.. če je to res ona, potem bo na levi nogi imela.. un tatu, ki ga zdaj vidim na njeni levi nogi.. torej to je Nikita. Fak.. Ne spomnim se kako me je pozdravila. Spomnim se samo, da je bila slišat vesela, da me spet vidi medtem, ko sem jaz dojela, da sem na vratih pozabila vprašat natakarco če danes dela. Vedno vprašam če je tukaj in vedno mi rečejo, da je ni tukaj. Tako sem se nekak navadla, da je nikoli ni takrat, ko jaz pridem. Danes pa enkrat za spremembo pozabim vprašat in zdej vidim, da bom spet depresivna vsaj dva tedna. Ampak zdej ni več poti nazaj. "To je moj Janez," sem vzdihnila in pokazala Mikija. "Miki, to je tista Nikita o kateri sem ti govorila." Res se ne spomnim kako je potekala ta interakcija, ker me je nenadna doza adrenalina duševno ohromila do te točke, da sem se obnašala povsem nešalantno okrog celotne situacije. Miki pa je bil očaran. Njemu so sicer všeč starejše debeluške, ampak ko je videl Nikito jo je takoj prosil za dens, jaz pa sem zavzdihnila. Pa saj sem mu vedno rekla, da se bova izognila Nikite če slučajno naletiva nanjo. Ampak ona je pač preveč lepa, da se ji lahko izogneš, ko stoji pred tabo. No, razen če imaš z njo zgodovino tako kot jaz.. Tako smo torej šli dol v sobo za privat dens. Okej, Miki je tip z denarjem. Valda bo mene pustila na miru in se štulila v njega. Ampak ona je svoj hipnotičen pogled zapičila naravnost vame in mi zlezla v naročje in me zagrabila za glavo in me povlekla k sebi tako kot takrat, ko.. eh.. včasih se sprašujem če bi res bila spet srečna če bi jo izbrisala iz svojih spominov. Najbrž ne, ker bi potem spet jokala zaradi tistih stvari zaradi katerih sem jokala preden je ona razbila moj srček na miljon koščkov. Po mojih izkušnjah se nikoli zares ne rešimo svojih problemov ampak jih samo nadomestimo z novimi problemi, ki zasenčijo stare probleme in nadgradijo naš karakter z novimi izkušnjami. Nikita je torej zasenčila mojo prejšnjo obcesijo, ki bi se spet prikazala če bi ona izginila iz mojih spominov. Torej v nobenem primeru ne zmagam te bitke. "Pač se ni izšlo med nama, jebiga," je rekla s tistim svojim čarobnim, hipnotičnim glasom. Slekla je hlačke in podrgnila svojo luliko po moji nogi, potem pa vstala in jo porinila v mojo glavo. Takrat, ko eni drugi striptizeti plačam 100€ mi ne bo pokazala lulike, takrat, ko pa res nočem videt lulike od moje bivše jo bom pa brez besed dobila naravnost v obraz.. eh.. zaprla sem oči in pogledala stran. Nočem obujat teh spominov. Nočem se spet spomnit kakšen vonj so imele njene hlačke, ki jih je enkrat pustila pri meni. Končno se je šla uštulit Mikiju v naročje. Stran sem gledala. Vedela sem, da se bom slabo počutila naslednji dan. Ampak danes moram še ostat močna, da Mikiju poberem še drugo kuverto denarja preden spet začnem depresirat s flašo jegra v roki. "No, končal smo," je rekla Nikita in močno pogledala Mikija, "Lah mi daš mal napitnine." Miki je brez besed segel v žep in ji dal nevem kok napitnine. Nisem gledala, ker sem bila rahlo užaljena ob dejstvu, da striptizete dobijo skoraj enako količino denarja kot jaz. Razen tega, da jaz vzamem v rito medtem, ko one samo pokažejo. Eh.. če nimam lulike pač pušim kurac. Mogoče bi pa le lahko šla na izlet v Srbijo, da probam delat v klubu Krasna Karobka. Ampak.. ne vrjamem, da sem res dovolj lepa za take zadeve. Ne upam si reskerat, da bi prišla vso pot do Beograda in mi gospod direktor reče, da sem primerna samo za natakarco. Zanimivo, da je lih v Srbiji klub kjer sprejemajo femboy striptizete na isti štangi kjer imajo ženske. Nikita me je objela čez vrat in takoj sem umaknila glavo, ker sem vedela, da me bo poljubila. Nisem se uspela izognit. Eh.. okej, sej bom naročila enga dvojnega jegra. Z Mikijem sva šla nazaj za mizo in naročila sem svojga dvojnega jegra. Meh.. "Fak kok je hudo ta Nikita!" je rekel Miki. "A res ne morva bit prijatla?" me je vprašala. "No way, hosè!" sem rekla in naredila požirek jegra. "Ti si ženska. Ti nimaš pojma kako take stvari vplivajo na mojo psiho." Ženska kot je ona pač nikoli ne bo razumela kaj točno je naredila v moji glavi, ko je rekla, da hoče bit moja punca brez, da bi mi takoj povedala, da hoče bit moja punca samo za en mesec preden se me naveliča in degradira najin odnos. Če bi mi to takoj povedala.. potem bi najbrž ostala srečna in jokala zaradi svojih starih problemov in obcesij. Ali pač? Pravzaprav nikoli v mojem lajfu nisem uspela ostat zares srečna kaj več kot kakšnih 40 dni v kosu. Vedno, ko sem naredila ta en velik korak naprej mi je hitro nekaj podrlo tisto stabilnost vesele sreče, ki se je potem pretvorila v nov problem, ki zasenči stare probleme in nadgradi karakter. Saj sem naletela na drugo punco, ki je bila prav tako lepa kot Nikita. Ampak nekaj mi ni ustrezalo pri njej. Mogoče to, da se mi je zdela dolgočasna. Pač, kako naj imam punco, ki je "pridna" in hodi na faks in kupuje stanovanje in ne ve kako se nariše črtico kokakole in ima rahle probleme z mojimi prostaškimi posli? No, tisto punco bi tko al tko takoj zgubila, ker takrat, ko sva se menle za dejt sem tko mimogrede srečala Nikito, ki mi je dala lupčka z jezikom in rekla, da me je lepo spet videt potem pa se mi naslednji dan "opraviči" češ, da je bila pijana. "Ja, to je blo res grdo od mene," je rekla Nikita preden me je rahlo skritizirala glede tega kako jo pogosto omenjam v svoji literaturi. Ampak saj sem jo blokirala. Kako bere moje objave? No, pa mi je povedala, da je naredila nov akaunt samo zato, da lahko bere moje objave. In baje so jo še njene stranke ene parkrat vprašale če je ona tista Nikita iz mojih zgodb. No sej, če se je ona tako nešalantno igrala z mojimi čustvi, potem se pa ja lahko še jaz nešalantno razpišem v svoji spletni literaturi, ki mi predstavlja zadnji žarek veselja in pomena v mojem lajfu. Miki je šel z mano nazaj k meni, pobrala sem mu še drugo kuverto in podrla rekord za največ denarja od ene stranke. Naslednji dan pa mi je pisal Šaman, moj kolega, ki me je rešil tiste LSD zagate s Počepnikom. Tokrat je bil on v resnih težavah in jaz sem bila edina oseba, ki mu lahko pomaga.

I called in a report on my kids dad last week. My kids were interviewed the next day (last Friday) at school. I have not been reached out to, and I stayed home from work on Monday just in case they stopped by.
