I have a bisalp scheduled two weeks out. I have done a ton of research, including items from this sub (thank you all!), and have the understanding that I should be fully covered at no cost to me. The doctor's office gave me the codes, one is for the actual Bisalp, the other for the Laproscopic aspect of the procedure. The doctor's office said no pre-auth was required, so it is covered, but couldn't tell me what it was covered at, which is why I've been making the rounds with insurance calls. I've had several different insurance calls with conflicting/confusing information. At one point, a call devolved into how marketplace plans and medicaid were different so I wouldn't be covered. (After some back and forth, my plan should qualify as ACA). Most recently, they've landed on the Bisalp code being fully covered as preventative, but the lapro code is not. The doctor's office has now said to try reaching out to billing, but I anticipate another phone call to insurance on the horizon. Does anyone have any tips on navigating these calls to get the most accurate information? Has anyone had one code covered but the other not? I want to do this, but I am stressing that they'll try to hit me with a bill after.

Hey everyone! My PS Portal is already running really well, but I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to make the connection as stable and smooth as possible. I have a **10 Gbps fiber connection with DIGI (Spain)**. My PS5 is connected directly to the router via Ethernet, and the Portal is connected over 5 GHz Wi-Fi. When I’m right next to the router, the Portal shows: • Strong signal • 1080p • \~15.7 Mbps download bitrate • \~6 ms latency • 0% downstream packet loss • 0% upstream packet loss • 0 corrupted frames I normally play from my bedroom, with one wall and a wardrobe between me and the router. There I get “Medium” signal, around 14.5 Mbps and \~7 ms latency, still with 0% packet loss and 0 corrupted frames. Honestly, I don’t notice any major issues while playing. I’m just trying to optimize everything as much as possible and get the smoothest and most consistent PS Portal experience. With a 10 Gbps connection, is there anything worth changing in my setup? Router settings, Wi-Fi channels, channel width, dedicated SSID for the Portal, QoS, access point, etc.? Or are these numbers already about as good as I should expect from the Portal? Thanks!

I know there are a lot of issues and protests happening across the country, but why is nobody talking about Manipur? Where is the outrage? Every day, I seem to hear another report of someone being killed, abducted, or displaced. Families have been in living in relief camps for years, waiting for the day they can finally return home. Yes, the conflict is complicated—ethnic tensions, land and ST-status disputes, migration, armed groups, narcotics networks, the Myanmar border, and political failures all play a role. Lately my anxiety has been miles better when I got my first vr headset my mental health was bad just 5 minutes on vr was enough to freak ne out with my hands not feeling real and my face but now vr has improved and my anxiety is better im tempted to try vr again with meta quest 3s but it worries me if the detachment and trippy stuff happens and puts my anxiety back to my old ways. I’m really hoping that this is not the new normal… I had been a member at Shining Rock Golf Club in MA for a couple of years and absolutely loved the course. Great golf without all the country club frills and stuffy atmosphere. This year I didn’t renew my membership because the new ownership has decided to charge a cart fee on all rounds, even if you walk. This seemed stupid, so I joined elsewhere and hoped that the management would come to its senses. Membership info for 2027 just dropped and again, they are sticking to this stupid policy. The course is a challenging walk, but is definitely walkable. I’ve finished 18 holes in under 3 hours walking, so I don’t think it’s a pace of play issue. So I’m wondering, is this happening anywhere else? If so, what’s the justification? To me, it seems like they just want to make sure they soak you for another $20 every round, so I’m voting with my dollars and playing elsewhere. But I really hope this is not a new trend. I know walking is not the norm when golfing in America, but I really do think it’s the best way to enjoy the game. Thoughts?

The town I live in is about an hour and a half away from my hometown, and a lot of people I grew up with end up moving here too. It’s been a hard adjustment, but I feel like I’m becoming the best version of myself that I’ve ever been. About a week and a half ago, I got a follow request from a man I used to be obsessed with. When we were younger teenagers, we had a really complicated “situationship,” and I was absolutely obsessed with him. It was pretty toxic and childish back then, but I think we’ve both matured a lot since then. After not speaking for two years, he followed me on Instagram and texted me. He said he wanted to meet up, apologize for everything he put me through when we were younger, and see me. He had moved to my college town about a year ago and is a year ahead of me in school. I agreed to meet him, and we clicked instantly. We stayed up all night talking, dancing, and enjoying each other’s company. Since then, all the time we’ve spent together has been amazing. He’s genuinely a really good person, he’s respectful, he takes really good care of me, and I can tell that he genuinely cares about me. We’ve both matured so much since we were younger, and because we already have so much history, it feels like we naturally understand each other. We also have the best chemistry, which makes everything feel incredibly easy and intense at the same time. He’s also not shy about making it known that he wants to be with me. He’s told me that he eventually wants a relationship with me, he’s told his mom about me, and his friends even told his ex-girlfriend that we were talking, that he was no longer interested in her, and that he wanted to fully pursue a relationship with me. I’m embarrassed to admit this, but I also went through his phone, and I didn’t see any other girls on his social media that he was talking to. Obviously, I know going through his phone wasn’t the healthiest thing to do, but seeing that did make me feel a little more reassured that I’m not just one of several girls he’s talking to. The problem is that he just got out of a super toxic relationship. Even when we were involved years ago, he was still on and off with the same girl. I found out that they had only broken up a week before he reached out to me, and I was devastated when I found that out. The next gut punch was finding out that they had been living together as well. I’m not naïve or stupid. I know he obviously isn’t over her and still has feelings for her. At the same time, I know he has feelings for me because he always has. Whenever they weren’t talking or would break up temporarily, he would always text me. I just hate being in this position because I like him so much, and I genuinely believe he’s a good person, but I can’t shake the feeling that I could be a replacement or someone he’s using to fill the space she left. I also feel like he’s really attached and doesn’t know how to be by himself. I don’t think he’s intentionally trying to hurt me or use me, but I’m worried that he might be going from one relationship into another without actually having time to process what happened. At the same time, it’s confusing because he’s being so open about wanting me. He’s telling his friends and his mom about me, his friends have apparently told his ex that he wants to pursue me, and he isn’t acting like he’s trying to hide me or keep me as a secret. We’ve had a long conversation about all of this, but he still brings her up, and I honestly cannot stand it. I also feel like things are moving really fast. Because we were so close when we were younger, it feels like we skipped a lot of the normal stages of getting to know someone again. We already have history, we have incredible chemistry, and being around each other feels so natural that it’s very easy for things to happen quickly. So what should I actually do in this situation? Should I give him space and let him figure out what he wants, or should I continue spending time with him and see where things naturally go? Should I set a boundary about him talking about his ex? How do I know if he genuinely wants me and is ready for a relationship with me, versus just being lonely and attached to what he had with her? Is it possible for someone to genuinely want a future with you while still needing time to get over their previous relationship? And how do I slow things down enough to protect myself without ruining something that feels so genuine? I really don’t want to walk away from him when I feel like we’ve both grown so much and have such a strong connection, but I also don’t want to become the person he uses to avoid being alone.

There's some questionable apps posted on here all the time. Honestly, it's not so much the vibecoding, but that these apps could be malicious/incompetent and leaking your data by uploading it to the dev's servers. hi! trying to make this brief, but i buzzed my hair quite some time ago and this year decided to grow it out. the back of my hair is finally around my shoulders and the sides are past my ears, so there’s been some decent growth anyway, a couple months ago i really fucked up my hair with dyeing and bleaching it and i have some spots on the top of my head that are around 2 inches long (so significantly shorter than the rest of my hair) that i think just…broke off due to a bleaching process. that and the fact that my hair feels stringy when it’s wet are my two biggest concerns, but i don’t think i can do anything about the gross stringy feeling besides shaving and starting again??

been trying to reach platinum on the tutorial turret boss and while i found out some interesting stuff about the game i also found out that a hitless 30 second win with lvl 3 art finisher only gives around 310000 out of the needed 350000 points for platinum. what can i do to get more? effektive damage doesnt seem to go far above 1k even if i put a second ice pillar on it after breaking the shield, and getting more than one or two perfect dodges/guards seems impossible given the time limit. is there anything else im unaware of that increases score?
