I had a few weeks to catch up on!

So my team right now is: C0r1 skirk C1r0 escoffier C1r0 furina C0r1 Vodyanitsa And I remember before back during leaks people were saying that Vodyanitsas c1 was rlly good for skirk but idk if that’s changed now because I heard it got nerfed last minute so is her c1 still worth it? And I’m going for c2 skirk next half so is vodyanitsas c1 worth it for a c2 skirk team?

art by @ m\_alexa my fav gameplay is freeze and bloom which is the best thing ever cus my two mains furina and columbina dps can play those :) so here's what i do have, c6r1 furina and i provided screenshots of all my cryo/hydro characters cus i'm assuming her best freeze is with escoffier? unless when i pull c2 nicole that becomes a better swap out (i am pulling c2 for my nicole on her rerun) everyone is c0, except for.. c2r1 columbina, c1r1 sigewinne, c2r1 nilou, c2 mona, c1r1 odette, c2r1 skirk, c1 shenhe, r1 ayaka but i know most of these cons/sigs don't even matter for a furina team lol

I had this strange dream where I saw this boy, bathed in a soft yellow glow dancing happily in a dress in an almost white void. There was something so inexplicably comforting about it and when I woke up the soft feeling continued. I really like the dream but have no idea wtf it could mean, any suggestions lol? (Pls let me know if i got the wrong place btw i staight searched this up on a whim XD)

Hello everyone! I recently lost my USF Earth Day water bottle. It is quite important to me that I get it back. It’s really my only Owala, and it’s imperative that I’m able to get it back. Has anyone seen it? If anyone is willing to give me another one, if possible, that would be awesome too!! A picture is attached of my recently lost baby 🥲

I’m sorry if this has been said before but I swear to god 80% of tourist that go to national parks and especially yellowstone are so fucking stupid. Like what do you mean your going to get close to a wild animal and think nothing bad is gonna happen? Oh yeah hunny let me just get my camera out and get close to this giant bison, moose or whatever wild animal and pose with it like it’s a fucking cosplayer at an anime con. Also it’s not just the disrespect for the native animals that happen to live there but also for the environment itself. Like I mean people getting close to natural geo thermal vents at yellowstone or hell at other places to just in general dangerous areas that could be cause for major injury and death. Also people littering like the ground is a free for all trash can. I just….if you cannot respect wildlife and the environment itself, maybe don’t go to a fucking national park. Neither the wildlife nor the environment wants to deal with that bullshit.

Disclaimer: I'm based in the United States. Some of what I have to say may apply to other countries; some may not. I'm a transgender woman who has been out for nearly a decade. I realized that I was transgender in 2015 and that's when I started paying attention to politics and the discussions around LGBT folks. Although I try to stay up to date with current events, I haven't really interacted with LGBT social media groups since the first couple of years after I transitioned as I frequently found myself getting into disagreements with other trans and LGBT people. But over the last couple days of scrolling through political stuff on my feeds, I felt like I had to say something and if people disagree with me, that's fine. The anti-trans crowd has picked the perfect arguments to get people riled up against trans people and on their side. I feel like the reason for this phenomenon is that there are some greater truths within these talking points. Let's look at some closer: 1. Bathrooms -- Let me start out by saying that EVERYONE is uncomfortable in public bathrooms. They're dirty. There's a giant gap around all sides of the door (if they even lock) and for many people, using the bathroom is going to be their most vulnerable state. I've heard the discourse around public bathrooms since my egg had first cracked, and nothing really has changed. If everyone is universally uncomfortable about the current bathroom stalls, why not change the layout of public toilets to make them more private? 2. Sports -- I feel like this argument has gained a lot more traction in the last couple years. I personally am not into sports, but I know that most people are very passionate about them. All I'll really say about women's sports is: if fairness in competition and adherence to the rules are what you care about, why not just leave the final decisions up to the governing body of each sports league? It shouldn't be up to a state or a politician, it should be up to the experts in charge of that particular sport. Also, I find it interesting that people are so up in arms about women's sports, yet so many women's teams struggle with funding and such because most people only really support football, men's baseball, and men's basketball. If you care so much, why not give some money to your local women's teams so that those athletes can continue to play? 3. Women's Safety and Women Only Spaces -- After I began transitioning, my eyes were really opened to the prevalence of sexual harassment that women face. There comes a point in a lot of trans girls' transitions where you're doing something that you have always done, like pumping gas at night, or going for a jog and you're suddenly faced with a creepy guy. The first time it happened to me, I talked about it with my girlfriends and I was shocked to learn the ages which they were first subjected to sexual harassment by men. The youngest was 8 and the highest was like 13. That's messed up! Obviously, women have to think about those things constantly. But I think a lot of guys also are aware because in the discussions surrounding transgender women, a big talking point is: "I want my wife/sister/daughter to be safe. I don't want a guy in a dress molesting them!" To me, the fact that first thing someone thinks about when discussing transgender women existing around women is the idea of a guy pretending to be a girl to assault a woman, is indicative of a much bigger problem in our society. Rape and sexual harassment are serious problems. And I think everyone can agree that women should be able to feel safe. However, what is being done to improve safety for women? I see guys saying that they want women to feel safe, but then it's crickets... My point is this: how are we supposed to argue with these talking points? It feels like you can't possibly win. Yes, there are issues that need to be addressed, but I feel like most of the people who are attacking trans folks with these points aren't really concerned about improving the broader issues of women's safety. I want women to feel safe, but I also want trans people to have the right to exist. And I feel like politicians right now can't win because it's all or nothing. Either you're a politician who protects women by making sure that trans folks lives are hard, or you're a politician who stands up for the rights of transgender people at the expense of women's safety. There's really no in between. So where do we even go from here?

I always used to be a doomer/prepper/accelerationist type of guy. Thinking the apocalypse is going to be exciting and i'm going to be part of some cool survivor gang. But now for the first time in my life it seems like shits actually getting real. And it's worrying, not exciting. I always thought it would be sudden. Something happens and boom, now its anarchy. You can do whatever you want! But in reality this will be preceded by months or years of no fuel, blackouts, food scarcity, cold and disease. Alwhile the police forces you to stay in line and take the punishment. It seems like instead of a Mad Max adventure it might be dying on the front line, forced to fight people who i have nothing against, or getting slowly killed by radiation poisoning and watching your body fall apart in agony. For the first time now im hoping an apocalypse DOESNT happen.

*Credit: Official art* First, let's look at the Abyss' previous abilities, the Devil's "foundation" * Increased weapon skills and intelligence * An Unwinged Angel is cold blooded and can therefore resist abilities like the Demoness' charm. * A Seriel Killer can summon devils and is even smarter. * Because the Abyss pathway is very individualistic, there will always be small variation in their abilities. A Seriel Killer killer can know several weak spells, but these are not worth to mention right now. That's nothing incredible by itself. But, all of these are very useful at higher sequences, one the Abyss reaches his qualitative transformation: The **Devil** * Their transformation gives them resistance to flames, toxins and curses. * They can launch up to 20 sulfur fireballs. * The Language of Foulness to slow, kill or corrupt * The Sword of Lava. So combine if we combine all of this, we have a Sequence 6 with: * Excellent ranged and melee offense. A S5 Sword of Lava can cut through massive stome columns. * Great durability * The skills and intelligence of a Criminal/Serial Killer * Speed rivaling the Werewolf, since both are stated to create Afterimages. * Hax with their different spells, but more importantly, Language of Foulness: Death and Slow. These count as curse, which are nigh-unavoidable at this point. It also has an AoE, so the Death, Hanged Man, Moon and Mother don't get advantages from their minions. * Resistance to any ability that controls their emotions, like Frenzy or Charm * Immunity to most toxins(CF really hates the Mother pathway) * Limited Resistance to Flames and Curses. * Note that the resistance to flames isn't limited to physical flames like the Pyromaniacs. The Abyss' flames are a manifestation of the authority over filth, corruption, depravity, etc. **NOT physical heat.** **Combined, we have the strongest pathway at S6.** # About purification: **I don't deny that Purification is a counter. However, at S6 only the Notary and Dawn Paladin have purification naturally and I seriously doubt a Scribe's or Polymath's purification will be strong enough, especially considering how hard the rest of the Devil's abilities counters them.** * Possible match ups: **Devil vs Dawn Paladin.** The Devil loses low diff. I won't even try to argue the opposite. The Dawn Paladin is probably the 2nd strongest S6. **Devil vs Pleasure:** The Devil has superior offense and defense. While he can't deal with Mirror Substitution or avoid the ice, he is still far stronger in a battle of attrition. The Unwinged Angel also counters her charm and Danger Sense deals with invisibility **Devil vs Faceless:** Faceless isn't a substantial upgrade to the Magician in combat and the Faceless' offense is far too weak to kill the Devil. Klein needed 5 hits point blank hits against a paralyzed Kircheis. Onceagain, he wins a battle of attrition. **Devil vs Hypnotist:** The Unwinged Angel allows the Devil to resist the manipulation. Danger sense also shuts down invisibility. **Devil vs Rose Bishop:** The Devil can't bypass the RB'a regen or restrain his shadow magic, but once again, in a battle of attrition the RB loses. **Devil vs Judge:** The Devil simply has superior firepower and he is too varied to be countered by prohibitions. It's a rather difficult match up because of imprison, but the Devil simply overpowers the Judge. Disciplianry Paladin vs Apostle of Desire is a very different story, but so far the Judge is too weak. # # Tl;DR: Embrace the Abyss, stop believing in these fake pathways.

IIUC, there are many ways to enjoy my Frame. please correct me if I’m wrong. 1. “full” VR games like HL Alyx. Games built for VR. I don’t want to play HL Alyx yet because I want to finish HL 2 first. 2. Non VR games that can be made into VR with mods? I’ve seen videos of Lies of P VR, Cyberpunk VR, Stellar Blade VR. but it’s hard to tell from the videos how VR-like the experience is. 3. Play 2D games on a virtual massive screen in VR head set. Given im very new to VR and I don’t want to spend hours tinkering, what kind of games would you recommend I start with? Or which category among 1 2 3 should i start with? I’ve enjoyed action games like Control, black myth Wukong, stellar blade, nier automata, Sifu. currently playing death stranding 1. Also loved Expedition 33, Cyberpunk, forza horizon 6. and 2D games like factorio, 2D puzzle games. thank you!

Reading an earlier post had me watching a Charles Roberts shaving "Method" video. Unfortunately, while following the method I was reminded of the power behind the R41's bite. To understand the less than comfortable results I look first at what defines a razor. Overall, the level of comfort and efficiency a razor offers is a balancing act. So to better know how this balancing act blends design and function I began looking at the parameters commonly used to define a razor. The easiest of these to describe may be blade exposure. The blade's edge relative to an imaginary line from the highest point on the cap to the highest point on the baseplate. If the blade edge passes beyond this line it is described as being positive causing the blade to apply pressure on the skin, improving the overall efficiency and closeness of the shave and potentially its aggressiveness. It has its place here but there are razors with neutral blade exposure known to provide efficient, close and comfortable shaves. This suggests it's not enough to describe a razor as aggressive based solely on blade exposure and razor design is vastly more complicated than one parameter. Another way to look at an aggressive razor is to measure its blade gap. The distance between the blade’s cutting edge and the closest point on the baseplate. The gap allows space for the skin to bend towards the blade, further presses the skin against the blade and the hair is cut closer to its root.  In theory this gap describes a razors level of efficiency. Large gaps are described as being more aggressive and smaller gaps by limiting the amount of skin bending towards the blade are presented as mild razors. In reality blade gap measurements can be misleading. For example, the R41 blade gap is 0.15mm and relatively nonexistent compared to the 0.58mm blade gap of a Backland Blackbird. Blade gap alone might lead you to believe the R41 is mild by comparison. Yet both razors are extremely efficient, both require a high level of skill to master and they both share similar levels of aggression. So, nothing definitive about blade gap on its own. There is one parameter, however, that might help me better understand the design elements of the R41. A razor's guard span, the distance between the blade’s cutting edge and the point where the baseplate makes contact with the skin. The greater the distance, the more skin bends and presses against the blade for a closer shave and even though it has a very small gap, the R41 has a relatively wide guard span measurement of 1.8 millimeters. That's a sizable amount of skin bending towards the blade. Still I haven't answered my question so I review my razors cutting angle and its shaving angle during a shave. If I hold the razor handle at a 45º angle, the blade angle of the R41 is 34º ruffly and if I ride the cap, (increased handle angle) my blade angle is something closer to 30º. This keeps this razor inside what many consider the sweet spot for a smooth, comfortable shave. When I keep the angle in this sweet spot I have less irritation but when I increase the angle of the handle too much my razor can bite. Trying the "method" pushed me beyond my level of skill and my moment of zen turned into something more fast and furious. In the moment, I lost control of my razor and moving XTG, I pulled up on the razor handle, closed down the angle in the process and the skin bending towards the blade was pinched and badly cut. Charles Robert's razor moves across his face with such speed I had to try what I was seeing for myself. I wanted to know what it would be like to use such quick paint strokes with what seemed like a complete lack of control. Thank you Mr Robert's, I now know why some mornings my father walked around with little pieces of toilet paper stuck to his face. Keep a steady hand on the razor and great shaves follow! I’m planning a trip to Vietnam this December and I specifically want to purchase three Apple products there: \- MacBook Pro: around ₹3 lakh in Vietnam. From what I understand, passengers are allowed to bring one laptop duty-free under the baggage rules, even if it is brand new/sealed. \- iPad: around ₹50,000 in Vietnam. My understanding is that the general duty-free baggage allowance is ₹75,000, so I believe the iPad should fall within that allowance. \- iPhone 18 Pro Max 256GB: around ₹1.45 lakh in Vietnam. This is the main issue I’m confused about. I already have a Samsung phone that I use as my primary phone. My main question is about the iPhone and Indian Customs: 1. If I buy the iPhone for \~₹1.45 lakh in Vietnam and use it as my personal phone for the trip, how is Customs likely to treat it when I return to India? 2.If I activate it in Vietnam, insert my eSIM/SIM, actually use it for the trip, take photos with it, etc., and throw the original iPhone box away in Vietnam, does that make any difference to whether Customs considers it a new/dutiable item? 3. For anyone who has actually returned to India with a foreign-bought iPhone worth ₹1 lakh+ recently, what happened at Customs? genuinely don’t want to pay a huge amount of Customs duty on the iPhone if there is a legitimate way for it to be treated as my personal phone. I’m not trying to smuggle anything or deliberately break the rules. I just want to understand the rules properly and hopefully be able to walk through the Green Channel without unnecessary tension or a Customs headache.

What an incredible track, cannot recommend enough! I try to get out there once yearly at least but not sure if I will this year. It’s absolutely exhausting due to how technical it is but well worth it. Nothing like pulling a power wheelie downhill on the back straight.

Also, what are the best options out there in the market right now for insurance payments? I'm open to getting a new card if it makes sense, just want to know what strategies people are using these days.

I was a pilot in the '90s flying out of an airport that was shared with a CAL FIRE air attack base. This game is inspired by that experience. You're the air attack supervisor, circa 1998, determining where tankers and helitack drop retardant and water. The fire is pure simulation taking into account wind, terrain, and fuel. Mission generator for replayability as well as historical fires using real USGS elevation and conditions. Planning an offsite in Coral Gables in December. Has anyone held group dinners at either Luca Osteria or Bulla Gastrobar? We’re a group of 25 and we’re not looking for a private room. TIA!

Hi All, I recently experienced a cyst rupture that I have a few concerns about. I’m 23F, 4’ 11”, 120lbs, and don’t take any meds aside from vitamins (multivitamin, probiotic 10, vitamin D and Zinc). Been told by a PCP I have Hashimotos Disease (hypothyroidism) but after endocrinologist referral they said I was fine and it was just a one off bad blood test. 23 days ago I had an extremely painful sharp pain in my lower right side. Initially I thought it was my appendix bursting, so I went to the ER and after a few hours discovered I had a 6cm ovarian cyst. They thought it might’ve been ovarian torsion but didn’t want to risk an unnecessary surgery so they just kept me overnight to monitor my hemoglobin/white blood cell counts. Next morning I was discharged, and was having really extreme bloating, fatigue and dull pain all throughout my abdomen. I was taking 600mg ibuprofen for \~10 days and then started to feel some pain in my stomach so I stopped, thinking it might be causing irritation to my stomach lining. It’s been about 3 weeks now, I go in and out of feeling the bloat, and been having some digestion issues like black stool (just once 2 days ago) and a noisier stomach than usual. I’m wondering if anyone experienced anything similar and how long the full healing took? I have a follow up with an OBGYN in a few weeks (hospital suggested I wait \~8 weeks for the follow up), but I just have a ton of health anxiety and am wondering if this is normal at this stage. I’ve never taken birth control and have never really had issues with my menstrual cycle. I’ve always had \~4 day long cycles, very limited cramps, so all of this was really surprising and scary. How long does healing usually take? Could this be related to issues with my thyroid?

At first when I saw this I thought my algorithm made a mistake…then I opened the comments 😬 I’ll attach the screen grabs in the comments because I can’t figure out how to add both a video and pictures

I’m developing Devil’s Daycare, a four-player co-op game where you and your friends manage toddlers who steal toys, cry, make messes, and cause escalating chaos. A shows the current 3D look. B is a stylized concept mockup, not an in-game screenshot. Which would make you stop scrolling and check out the gameplay? What specifically draws you in: the rendering, character designs, expressions, colors, or something else? The expressions and poses also differ between the images, so I’d love to know whether those influence your choice more than the rendering style itself.

TL;DR: Moving from Toronto to Moncton by the end of October, no space on car and can't drive trucks. Looking for advice on shipping luggage, boxes, and an office chair (maybe mattress). Many pod services don't deliver to our new address and moving companies seem sus. Hello everyone! My partner and I are moving from Toronto to Moncton by the end October, but we have no clue how to get our things across the country. I drive a medium sized SUV, and most of its space is already reserved for our pets, electronics, and the clothes we plan to wear for the road trip. I have no confidence driving a U-Haul truck on a 15 hour trip, and even less confidence towing a large trailer. We are still packing, but we anticipate to bring: 6 large travel suitcases; 5 to 20 large moving boxes; 1 Herman Miller chair (must have); 1 queen size mattress and bed frame (we can ditch this if needed); + some miscellaneous items I looked into Pods and U-Pack, and neither delivers to our new zip code in NB. I have also heard some not so nice things about U-Box. Does that mean we are out of luck when it comes to moving pods? I also got quotes from a few moving companies, and every quote came back suspiciously low, somewhere between $700 and $1000. If we go with a moving company, what should we watch out for? I have heard that some of these moving companies can take weeks or even a month, and we cannot afford to be without our stuff for that long. What other options might we have? Any tips or pointers for an interprovincial move would be hugely appreciated. Thank you!
