So I was just running my cover letter for a quick spell check and there's AI embedded in everything nowadays so obviously that spellcheck had AI too. I was ignoring most of it besides the spelling errors it was catching when I saw "This portion sounds like AI." The heck? I haven't used AI for anything but that still came up. Will the work study people think that too?? I'm a bit worried but it's literally my writing style I don't know how to freaking "humanise" my text when a human wrote it.

This was developed primarily for personal use after my system hard disk crashed once and wiped out \~5 years of browser history. I have a habit of keeping my browsing history as a long-term archive. I often find myself searching things like “When did I visit this URL in the past?” or “What was I browsing immediately before I reached this URL?” - and that's the kind of use case this extension is built around. ⚠️Before you try it out, a couple of hard disclaimers⚠️ 🔴 This involves running a few commands in a terminal, which I know is an instant turn-off for a lot of people. If you're comfortable with a terminal, this is a piece of cake. If you're not, either follow the setup commands exactly as-is or paste them into an AI chat assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) and have it walk you through each one step by step. 🔴 Cloudflare requires a credit card on file to use R2 but the free tier is generous (10GB), and for personal browsing history, that could realistically take years, maybe decades, to fill up. To put it in perspective: my own 4-year, 1.8M-visit history comes to a \~350MB TSV file, which gzips down to \~70MB in the cloud. Do the math and you'll see how far 10GB actually stretches. That said, some people just don't want to add a card, and if that's you - fair enough, but this extension won't be of much use to you. The core goal here is simple: push your history to the cloud at intervals you set, and pull it back on demand. History gets lost for all sorts of reasons - you cleared it, never had a local backup, your disk crashed, some cleaner tool wiped your cache or you just switched to a new computer. This way, you lean on Cloudflare's free tier and just... don't worry about it anymore. As someone about to become a first-time mom, I'm already thinking ahead to getting back into training once I'm cleared. My goal is to rebuild strength and return to my normal weight in a healthy but effective way. For context, I'm already pretty active: 3-4 AF+ strength 30-min classes classes, 2 runs, and 1 yoga/pilates session per week, plus 10K+ steps daily. My question: does anyone have recommendations for the best way to approach postpartum recomping? A few things I'm weighing: \- Stick with AF+ and my cardio/pilates schedule as is \- Switch to a program built specifically around progressive overload \- Stay with AF+ but layer in progressive overload myself (though I'd probably need longer rest breaks than the instructors build in 😅) Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Does Elon Musk, who claims to be so smart that chess bores him, understand what the Streisand effect is? That’s worth wondering, because he’s now threatening to sue Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney over a new documentary about the controversial business magnate, which Musk has been fuming is a “hit piece.” The film, simply titled “Musk,” is a four-hour examination of the centibillionaire’s life, from his upbringing in South Africa to his start during the dot-com boom to his foray into politics. But it’s a documentary, not a hagiography, and Musk can’t stand that it takes a critical eye to his character. I’m particularly passionate about urban landscapes, and I love wandering around the outskirts of cities, taking photos of buildings and places that might look completely ordinary at first, but somehow become interesting when you look at them in the right way. One of my biggest inspirations is Gabriele Basilico, the Italian photographer known for his powerfull and carefully composed photographs of urban landscapes and architecture. I’d love to hear what you think about my photos, especially when it comes to editing and composition. Any advice, criticism or even brutally honest opinions are very welcome! Picked up as a light counterweight to a heavy machine I was sick of hauling around, and a fortnight later the Hamilton Beach 70740 is the one getting used. Hummus twice, a mountain of onions, carrots shredded for slaw, and a batch of baby food for a friend who owes me. This Hamilton Beach food processor costs a small share of a 14 cup Cuisinart and sits well above the unbranded choppers that come free with house clearance lots, and bowl material and motor size are what I look at first, price comes after. Chopping is well beyond what 450 watts suggests on paper, since chickpeas went to smooth hummus without me stopping twice to scrape the sides, and raw carrot gets sliced rather than bruised into submission. Two speeds plus pulse is basic and honestly enough for a food processor this size, and pulse is the setting that matters because it is the only thing standing between chopped onion and onion slurry. Attachments are the minimum viable set at this money, a stainless steel S blade for chopping and pureeing, one reversible disc for slicing and shredding, and that is the lot, while older Hamilton Beach machines shipped with dough blades and several discs, and the people who owned those complain about the difference at length. Capacity suits one or two people rather than a crowd, 64 oz in the bowl, and the whole machine comes in at 5 lb, which is the number that sold me, since two bowls back to back covers a week of prep for two people, which is how it gets used here. The 8.4 by 10.71 by 15.6 in body goes onto a shelf one handed, and with nowhere in this kitchen to put anything, that beats a machine you need two hands and a plan for. Loud is the honest downside, louder than 450 watts implies, and other owners say so over and over, while mine gets a wince out of anyone standing near it on the high speed. Where the low price shows itself is the build, because bowl and lid are polycarbonate and the spot where the lid snaps into the base feels destined to fail, so I stopped forcing it and started lining it up properly. Nothing has given way yet, but that catch is where I would expect trouble. Cleaning is fast, the bowl and blade rinse clear under a tap and the plastic has not taken on a garlic smell, though the 110 volt motor housing obviously only ever gets a wipe. Value is the strongest argument, 4.5 from 18300 reviews at a price that undercuts a comparable Ninja by a distance, and it handles the jobs I used to do badly with a KitchenAid grinder attachment, since falafel mix that jammed the grinder went through this chopper in about fifteen seconds. Buying one secondhand would have saved a little more, except the used ones sell within the hour. How long does that lid catch last for people running one of these a few times a week, does it wear loose and start refusing to fire up?

Hi :) I’m having a moral dilemma and feeling frustrated at the lack of support from the LSST teachers at our school. To preface; I understand I am their EQUAL and in no way am I looking for advice to ensure punitive action is taken. I’m genuinely interested in knowing the legal/union provided obligations within the LSST role and what the parameters are around “support blocks”. Personally, I feel frustrated because OBVIOUSLY there are many students who would benefit from 1 on 1 or small group instruction and are missing out on learning opportunities due to… ?? Idk!!??? Our LSST teachers are required to teach and cover preps during the morning (on a non-reportable subject/supplementary math block, might I add) and then for the remainder of the day… all of those teachers have “support block” on their timetable. During this time, they are spread out amongst the classes in 20 min blocks to support the teacher/pull small group/one of one instruction. NONE of these teachers are showing up to ANY classes and supporting. They are all sitting in an office doing…??!? Again idk??? But regardless, none of them support anywhere (even tho I think they are supposed to be) and have even been observed saying things like “I don’t go to my support blocks, they’re only 20 minutes” Can someone please explain this to me? Like what steps would you take in addressing it? (I’m supposed to have support but nobody ever comes) and what does the union say? Are they allowed to just not come to stay back and work on IEPs? Or are those types of things supposed to be done on prep periods?? Also why does this bother me so much?? lol I am learning to not worry about things outside of my control? But I also know the number of students and teachers (who have BOATLOADS of things to be doing) would love even 20 minutes of support in a day… I also have nothing against these people personally… and I don’t want them to be in trouble. I just would love it if everyone fulfilled at least their legal obligations? What would you do? What would your next move be?

THEY CAN’T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS

Just purchased my first set of real knives (not pictured, still in the mail, using these old knife block knives in the meantime) along with a magnetic knife strip. I put it on the fridge but I’m curious if this is safe for the knives or if it has a tendency to fall off? With all the knives on it and using a kitchen scale it took about 4.4lbs of pressure to move the knife strip down, so I imagine it’s likely pretty safe. They included screws and adhesive. Unfortunately the only 2 realistic places in my kitchen to put the knives aren’t really screw friendly, one is on the side of a double oven, so that’s a no go. The other is above the sink and I imagine that steam is not the best way to treat knives The closest wall would have me walking back and forth across my kitchen every time I use a knife The new knives comes next Monday, so I guess I’ll see how the strip holds up until then

For work I’ve had to create large, complex models and I’ve found it very time consuming to verify the whole model. For representativeness my main operating model goes out maybe 60 columns? And extends to row 1,100. If anyone can provide any help it’s much appreciated.

My girl dinner is a bow of apples and my issues is this. I had a friend for like 18 years literally. We had a huge falling out and it was really hurtful and damaging on my part. I’ve posted about it before but it’s one of those things that just has so many sides and turns it could just never be explained. She’s just one of those people that can change really drastically depending on who she’s around which makes things more complicated because again certain people have never seen certain sides to her and I know for a fact she’s very self conscious and aware of the sides of her I know. Anyway, we decided to let childhood issues lie and move on. Here’s the issue, She’s a bad friend now. I never hear from her. I never see her. The few times we have made plans she’s mostly canceled on me. I always hear about her plans and never get invited to be a part of those plans.(I don’t beg to be part of something I invite her to things she does not come) She’s called for some life advice type things but other than that I’m completely cut out. Interestingly the same dramatic fallout type issue happened with her new best friend, which I won’t lie made me feel a little validated because it wasn’t just me that felt the pain of her ever changing character. Although I really don’t wish that on people. Even more I really hate how this situation has me trapped in a mental spiral. I feel very wronged by the person and I don’t know why I can’t move on. Maybe because I allowed her back in the last time. Anyway here’s the meat and potatoes of my situation. I didn’t get invited to the freaking wedding. If known this girl since before she was born and have been friends since we were potty trained and I don’t get an invite? But the most recent ex friend got one but I’m excluded? It infuriates me. I know I need to grow up I need to move on. But I just cannot believe that after everything she did after all of that I still chose to be kind to be welcoming and forgiving but she is sitting there deliberately telling me about her little wedding and her engagement and then turn around and deliberately not invite me. I have literally never asked for anything but loyalty and compassion and the other friend literally moved in and had a massive falling out over legit issues. Out falling out was literally directly due to her lack of maturity and respect and I’m being alienated? Except of course when she needs something. And here I am sitting here acting like a child. Either way help me please l. How do I move on? I’m for sure not obligated to continue our “friendship” right? I mean I’m not invited to major milestones so why would I listen to her whine about her parents. So what do I do? How do I get this out of my head? Wine? Yoga? What? Please for the love of good and evil I cannot keep living in this mess.
