I'm homeless and have a retail job and am blessed bc of it! Been there for a year the day after Thanksgiving. It REALLY helps that the breakroom has a fridge and I have a locker. It even has a microwave, toaster, mini oven, kurieg and they have pods restocked monthly I also plug my shit up every day. I'm only part time tho and get low hours so it sucks when I'm not scheduled but I been there almost a year so I don't think they'd mind if I popped in for an hour at the breakroom I think a few coworkers know especially since I'm always carrying a fully packed backpack and a large bag with hand straps I need to find another income source though bc I don't get many hours. For example I only have 3 bucks left till payday lol. If I get moved up to manager I'm able to get full time immediately though which would be fucking FANTASTIC! They're already training me at the register and going to train me at other parts and said that it'll help me get more hours and have more of a chance to move up Not sure if you're into this kinda thing but if you are and don't mind will you please pray for me please I struggle quite a bit still with having to stay clean, doing laundry and staying dry bc it's fucking rain season.... and the FUCKING MOSQUITOS OMGOSH... but I'm so close to getting a place if I can just get more hours by moving up or getting another income source but it's hard as fuck to find a job in this area I started as a temporary seasonal associate and there was a good chance they wouldn't have kept me, but i busted my ASS and they liked me and how I interacted with customers and how fast I move freight so they made me a permanent employee Everyone i work with is so cool too and I got to know everyone except for one of my managers is a complete asshole and doesn't like me but everyone else does so fuck her Also been staying clean praise God! Most posts about this list the three laws and move on. Heres what each one actually means and how to use it. Supply and demand. Not "more buyers than sellers," thats too vague to use. Its about aggression relative to size. A big volume candle that barely moves price means real supply or demand absorbed the aggression without giving ground, thats strength on the side that held. A small volume candle that moves price a lot means there was nothing there to absorb it, thats weakness, not strength, even though price moved fast. Speed of movement and size of volume behind it have to be read together, never separately. Cause and effect. The length and tightness of a trading range is the cause, the size of the move that follows is the effect. A range built over weeks with tight, controlled candles stores up a much bigger effect than a sloppy 2 day range ever could. This is why measuring a range's duration actually tells you something real about the target, its not arbitrary, the cause has to be proportional to what comes after it. Effort versus result. This is the one that catches almost everyone out because it looks identical to normal price action until you know what youre looking for. High volume, wide range candle that produces almost no net movement from where it started, thats maximum effort for minimum result, and its one of the most reliable tells that the move is about to reverse. Nobody puts in that much effort and gets nothing back unless something bigger is absorbing it on purpose. None of these work in isolation. A range without checking effort versus result at the edges is just a shape. Volume without checking it against the size of the candle is just a number. The 3 laws are meant to be read together, thats the actual skill, not memorizing which law is which. For those of you who have waived into New York State, how did you prove full time employment? My practice is solely court appointments and I carry about 120 criminal cases, 15 CPS cases and the occasional appeal every year. I am afraid my current set of employers is going to stop giving me work if I ask for an affidavit of full time employment. They also don’t do case counts from year to year, so there are anomalies like the year I took 215 cases because it was just Zoom court, and then only taking 50 cases the next year, because I was way over the fair defense limits. A few days ago we were all there at a party and apparently he’s started studying to be a nurse, and not just that, he wants to become a psychiatrist. And I’m thinking it’s a very bad idea concidering I’ve known him for years and he doesn’t really care about anyone. Like he doesn’t give a f about anything pretty much and at least not about other people. I told him that it doesn’t really make sense to me that he wants to be a psychiatrist. He asked me why and i answered with «well you’re pretty mentally ill too». (I’ve always had an inkling bro was depressed) And he said something like «well i don’t need to care about myself to care about others». And then continued to ramble and said «you know if there’s and old man on his deathbed and in pain someone should pull the plug. And I can do that, i don’t care». So then I’m stood there thinking that thats an odd thing to just say? It might just be me overthinking this too, i do listen to a lot of true crime. But i also feel like that’s just opened my eyes to some red flags. I’m seriously worried he would hurt someone if given the chance. I don’t know tho if I should report him or talk to his mom or something? But also I don’t know how much influence his mom has over him. I just know that if he did ever hurt someone I would regret so much not telling anyone. What should I do??

Hey guys I work on fracks doing everyone’s favorite third party, water transfer! Looking for advice…I’ve been doing this about a year now and honest to god I love the job, what I don’t love is the hours/work-life balance. Now before you go calling me weak and “not made” for the oilfield I want to preface this post with that since I started this time last year I have been home two times for a week at a time each…and from what I hear from other companies, that isn’t normal. How different in difficulty are the cases for the two rounds? Practice casebooks that I’m using sometimes indicate similarity in cases between R1 and R2 but I’m seeing absolutely no standardization. I felt like my R1 case was super easy, so not sure what level of escalation to expect for R2.

I was looking into some recent FINRA arbitration filings and came across a situation worth sharing. A financial advisor at Truist Investment Services, [**Ignacio Tejera**, is facing multiple claims over how he handled clients' money](https://investorclaims.com/blog/ignacio-tejera-truist-investment-services-northstar-investigation), specifically regarding **Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda)** products. The part that stood out is that these Northstar investments were often sold as safe, fixed-rate options, but they were actually offshore products with significant credit risks that a lot of investors didn't realize they were taking on. Once the company collapsed and went into liquidation, those investors were left with very little recourse. Here's what the public record shows: * A 2020 arbitration claim over an unsuitable Northstar contract settled for **$300,000** in January 2022. * A new arbitration case was filed in September 2024 seeking **$500,000** in damages for similar reasons. * In March 2026, an arbitration panel ordered Truist to pay over **$2.7 million** in a case tied to Tejera's recommendations. If you have money in **fixed-rate products or annuities**, it's worth double-checking what you actually own. It's common to assume these are as safe as a standard bank CD, but offshore products play by different rules. One thing worth knowing: Tejera's FINRA BrokerCheck profile actually does show four customer dispute disclosures spanning more than a decade, so the record here is publicly visible to anyone who looks it up. If your advisor put you into something that doesn't match your risk tolerance or liquidity needs, pulling their BrokerCheck history alongside your own account records is a solid starting point.

There was an old game on the front page every time you opened the game for a while in the early to mid 2010s. I want to know what this game was. I believe it was a pvp game where you would spawn on the ground or in the structure but it was a flat grass area with walls and in this area was a giant (wooden/brown?) structure that you could go in to fight people. Honestly you probably didn't even fight people, i may be misremembering that detail. Does anyone remember this game
