I have mixed feelings about my situation because this person isn’t a bad person necessarily, but they hurt me a lot. My ex friend is a pathological liar and they lied to me about things ranging from pretending to watch a tv show to trauma. They told me in the beginning of our friendship but said they were trying to get better, so I believed them. Despite that, I only saw them worsen throughout our two years of friendship. I spent nearly a year feeling like a shitty friend because I had managed to convince myself that I was a horrible person for wondering if they had lied to me about such serious subjects. I thought it was in my head until another a mutual friend spoke to me about it and made me realize I wasn’t crazy. When I confronted my ex friend, they lied to me about apologizing to our other friends. I know that they did care about me, and deep down, they’re not a bit person. Maybe it’s not the right thing to say, but I want them to feel as bad as they made me feel. Is a justice spell a good idea in this situation?

I have asked google gemini and it's giving me apps that don't seem to be what I'm looking for. (I'm on android, functional ear trainer, tonal energy, ear trainer, etc no). I just want a given tone and I have to guess if it's in tune or flat/sharp. Ear trainer had something similar where it would play two tones and you had to say if the second was sharp or flat. The beginner and intermediate level were obvious. The advanced was impossible. Of course when I'm actually playing I can have a tuner on. Daily Challenge – September 03, 2026

A lot of people in this group have been fans since the start, for a couple years, months, or weeks. We’ve seen it all, but there’s still something new we can always see. Something I’d like to see happen on the show is a perfect service in the very first episode (not completing the first service, that’s already happened). We’ve seen Gordon go mad enough, I think he deserves a perfect start where nothing comes back, nothings raw, and no sabotages. What’s something yall would like to see happen on the show? Another idea I thought of was whenever there’s those situations during challenges where they have to pick a dish because there’s too many contestants on one team. I’d like there to be like a challenge where they put their dish on the line and if the person they’re challenging’s dish is better than the others then they will eliminate themselves from the competition. The reason I’ve thought of this is because we’ve all seen the situations where the person who’s dish wasn’t picked was better or the best of the rest, and they get mad that it wasn’t picked.

I had a huge burnout during my first full-time office job about 3 months in. I posted on Reddit asking for advice. The majority, if not all, of the responses advised me not to quit that role until I had another job lined up. I stayed in that toxic role for just over a year before I was fired about 2 months ago for gross misconduct, which was largely caused by my prolonged burnout lol. During that whole time, I took the advice of looking for another job while staying employed and had 0 luck. I applied to hundreds of jobs and didn’t even get a single interview. I took a break for a month after being fired and took it easy. After that, I only applied to around 5 jobs. 2 didn’t respond, 1 rejected me without an interview, and 2 gave me in-person interviews. I got an offer from one of these interviews and was rejected from the other. I didn’t bother applying to agencies, and the job I got an offer from isn’t high-paying, but it’s a few thousand over minimum wage for the yearly salary and was a single position hiring. Did I just get lucky, or is it a myth that it’s easier to find a job when you’re employed? Or did having one year of experience at my first full-time role help me in getting this new job? To add on, doesn’t that go against the other popular advice that new employers don’t like seeing under 2 years at your previous role? I count my blessings with getting a new role without much fuss because I see the amount of people who are stuck in unemployment for a really long period and know how debilitating the constant rejections can be. Especially as I have a Master’s and can’t break into the field of my own degree either. Interested in hearing your guys’ opinions.

Hi everyone! This is Daikon, my 4-month-old Exotic Shorthair. I recently brought him home and I'm trying to decide which pet insurance would be best for him. His breeder told me that their vet noted he has a wry mouth / misalignment of his teeth, but said it is purely cosmetic and doesn't currently affect his health or eating. His paperwork also mentions conjunctivitis, although the breeder didn't mention that to me directly. I have my own vet appointment scheduled for September 9 to have him fully checked. I'm especially wondering about insurance because Exotic Shorthairs can have breed-related health and dental issues. I'm currently looking at companies like Trupanion and Embrace, but I'm open to others. For those of you with Exotics: \- Which pet insurance do you use, and have you been happy with it? \- Have they been good about covering hereditary/congenital conditions? \- How is the dental coverage? (I'm worried they wont cover since he has wry mouth) \- Has anyone had experience with a mild wry mouth that was initially considered cosmetic but later required treatment? \- How does your insurer handle something already noted in the kitten's records but not currently requiring treatment? I'm assuming the wry mouth and possibly conjunctivitis could be considered pre-existing, so I'm not trying to hide either of those. **Analysis** Rereading the lyrics of YOAKE, the Season 1 opening, I’m starting to wonder whether the song was far less generic than it initially seemed. Now, with everything we know about Gai, Ryūsei, Sagume, Ramaga, the original Samurai Troopers, and the secrets surrounding several characters, some lines take on a very different meaning. “Yureru kono sekai de / Kuzureru uso” In this shaking world / the lies collapse. This is probably the part that strikes me the most now. From the beginning, the story has relied heavily on what the characters do not know: their origins, the true intentions of certain characters, hidden alliances, the links between the Tendōkai and the human world, and even what the previous generation truly left behind. So Season 1 begins with a song literally describing an unstable world in which lies will eventually crumble. At the time, it could simply have sounded heroic. After the recent revelations, not so much. “Me o samashita my soul” My soul has awakened. The theme of awakening appears several times in the song. Later: “Mezameru ima Clearly” — Now I awaken, clearly. That vocabulary is particularly interesting in a series where the characters are not only discovering new powers. They are also gradually discovering who they really are and what they carry within themselves. Gai is probably the clearest example. His development is not simply about a boy becoming stronger. Since Ramaga, Haōtei, and the recent events, it increasingly seems connected to something that was already inside him before he even understood what it was. “Shōshō meimei no soldier” The idea seems to be that of individual soldiers, each following their own path. And immediately afterward: “Hibiki aeba mirai e no signal” When they resonate together, they become a signal toward the future. And here, it is difficult not to think about the structure of the new generation itself. They are not simply five replacements who instantly form a perfectly united group. Each of them arrives with their own story, role, secrets, and sometimes even a completely different trajectory. Ryūsei is probably the best example: his involvement with the Tendōkai and Inmei shows that he was literally following a different path from the others. And yet, those paths eventually converge. The future therefore does not come from erasing their individuality, but from their resonance with one another. And this also fits very well with the relationship between the OG and NG characters: the future exists because several different legacies eventually begin to answer one another. The abandoned sword… then the raised sword Two lines also become interesting when placed side by side: “Okizari no sword” → a sword left behind / abandoned. Then: “Furikazasu sword” → a sword being raised or brandished. This progression could of course be purely symbolic. But in Samurai Troopers, where weapons, armors, and powers are constantly connected to inheritance and transmission, the imagery feels particularly appropriate. Something was left behind by the previous generation. Then someone picks it up again. And what seemed to belong to the past becomes a weapon for the present once more. “Subete kowashite umarekawaru” Destroy everything and be reborn. This may be the line that best sums up the new series. Because it does not seem interested in simply reproducing the Samurai Troopers of 1988. Instead, it gradually dismantles some of our assumptions: the roles we thought we understood, the boundary between enemies and allies, the origins of certain characters, the way powers are inherited, and perhaps even our understanding of the OGs’ history. But that destruction is not presented as an ending. It allows for rebirth. And that fits perfectly with a series that inherits the legacy of Samurai Troopers while building something new from it. And finally: YOAKE Yoake means “dawn.” And the chorus repeats: “Yoake made wa owaranai” → It will not end until dawn. At the beginning of Season 1, this could simply have been understood as a heroic line: keep fighting until morning. But today, I can see another possibility. The dawn could represent the moment when everything is finally revealed. The moment when the lies have disappeared. The moment when everyone finally understands their true place. And above all, the moment when the old world has been broken down enough for the next one to be born. What makes this particularly interesting is that this song did not come after all these revelations. It was the Season 1 opening. In other words, if this interpretation is correct, part of the philosophy — and perhaps even the overall structure of the story — may have been right in front of us since the very first episode. YOAKE may not simply be describing the beginning of the journey. I click to add a song to playlist and it just automatically adds to the most recent playlist that was added to. like no, I want to choose specifically which one I want it to go in. Sometimes it does let me do that and sometimes it doesn’t. and there is no option to immediately undo if you add it into the wrong playlist. and when you go to add a song to a playlist, it’d be nice if you could see which, if any playlists, already have that specific song in it. the app has gotten noticeably better, but there are still a lot of crucial things that could be optimized better

Hi! I’ve been building **Sudoku Arena**, a browser-based competitive Sudoku game, and I’m looking for a few people willing to test the public beta. The concept is: **Same puzzle. Same clock. First to solve wins.** You’re matched against another player, both receive the exact same Sudoku, and you can see each other’s progress and mistake count in real time without seeing the opponent’s board. It currently includes ranked matchmaking, Elo ratings, leaderboards, rematches, notes, undo, a 3-mistake limit, reconnect protection, mobile support, and 50+ puzzles. I’ve already tested it across multiple accounts and mobile/desktop, so at this point I’m mainly trying to find the things I haven’t noticed myself. I’d especially appreciate feedback on: * matchmaking/realtime behavior * mobile UX * whether the Sudoku controls feel natural * anything confusing or broken * whether you actually want to play a second match after finishing one **Beta:** [Sudoku Arena](https://sudoku-arena-clash.base44.app/) There’s also a feedback button inside the app. I’ll stay online for a while after posting so there should be someone available for matchmaking. ***Lights and Shadows*** **by Al. Trude, Jr.** I’m hoping someone here might enjoy a bit of a bibliographic mystery. I’m trying to locate any record of a book called ***Lights and Shadows*** by **Al. Trude, Jr.** It appears to be an early 20th-century work, but so far I haven’t been able to locate a copy, catalog entry, publication information, or much of anything about it. I came across the title while looking into another old book I happened to find, and for whatever reason this one has really stuck with me. There’s something about knowing that this little book once existed, but seemingly left almost no trace behind, that makes me want to find it again. I’d genuinely love to own a copy someday if one still survives, but even just finding a photograph, catalog record, or some evidence of where and when it was published would mean a lot to me. I know it’s a long shot, but I thought maybe someone here might recognize the title or enjoy helping me hunt for it. There are several other books titled Lights and Shadows by different authors, but they are **not** by Al. Trude, Jr.

I didn’t think Jettas owners could get worse than dynasty, but the redraft Jettas owners are worse. In multiple leagues I have daily offers asking for the god damn moon, then getting offended when I decline. Jettas is great, much talent, but he’s being taken in the mid to late second for a reason. I’m not paying Nabers, ETN and Burden for Jettas, at that point I mine as well gonna for Puka or Chase or Sun God and get actual 1-3 production guaranteed rather than praying Murray turns back time. I wish yall the best, hope he returns to fantasy relevance but that gamble isn’t for me. Thank you, end of rant.
