I know.. this is HORRIBLE. Noticed a bad shake at 35+MPH. I have parked the truck until I fix this. I got under and noticed cv boots are shot and so are the tie rods and sway link bushings. Would these alone cause a shake in this condition? Also, anything else you see worth replacing while I’m at it?

I don't know why but I have these episodes where my neck hurts a little and I begin to feel like the world is sliding around me when I move my head. After a while of this I start to act almost drunk. I laugh inappropriately at everything to the point where my friends get concerned by my behavior. Especially because I literally can't walk straight when it happens. And like a part of me is aware I'm acting weird but I can't really stop it either. I usually pass it off as "I laugh so I don't cry" but I really just feel intense glee for absolutely no reason. Am I going crazy? Or has anyone else experienced this or heard of this happening?

Io non so come reagire ad una cosa così. Breve intro: i miei finalmente dopo più di 15 anni, si separano, ma stiamo tutti (io, i miei e mio fratello) sotto lo stesso tetto. Mia madre è una narcisista tossica super vittima a cui io, nella mia infanzia/adolescenza, ho anche creduto, facendole praticamente da balia per i farmaci che assume (soffre di depressione maggiore) e da supporter emotivo, tanto da considerarmi un'amica più che una figlia. Nonostante la terapia, psicologica e psichiatrica, purtroppo è andata solo a peggiorare. Mio padre è sempre stato assente, l'unico aggettivo positivo che mi viene in mente per lui è "molto efficiente", in quanto non ci ha mai fatto mancare nulla (è un workaholic, non si è mai preso una cazzo di giornata di festa al lavoro, vive praticamente per lavorare), ma emotivamente è molto tarato, tanto da sfondare la porta della cucina con un pugno (che era indirizzato a me). Mia madre presumo sia completamente bruciata dai farmaci e dai suoi continui e ciclici up&down umorali; mio padre si sta godendo la vita altrove, lavorando, viaggiando e venendo a casa praticamente solo a dormire. Mi duole ammetterlo, ma la persona più lucida è proprio lui, nonostante abbia l'emotività di un sasso morto. Stiamo cercando (credo) di costruire un rapporto mai esistito, e dopo l'ennesima volta in cui ho sbroccato dicendo che pur di vivere come una barbona mi sarei levata da questa merda e dallo stato di famiglia, mio padre se ne esce con "ma stai veramente così male qui? che ti abbiamo fatto?" gli ho risposto che mi sarebbe servita praticamente una giornata intera, dato che non saprei neanche da dove cominciare. "E allora troviamo un giorno, andiamocene da qualche parte e spiegami una volta per tutte". Sono allibita. Domani so su che tema concentrarmi dal mio psicologo.

Hey. First time posting here, been reading for a while and figured it's time to actually share something instead of just absorbing everyone else's work. I've been building a fantasy setting called Echo 96 for a while now. Wanted to start with the piece of it I keep coming back to instead of dumping the whole thing at once. The basic premise starts with fifteen young people from a world called Asterios. Mostly teenagers and young adults, nothing special about any of them. No prophecy, no divine mission, no reason it should be them. It's an ordinary day of adventuring, nothing different from any other. They end up swimming across a small lake, and without any warning a rift opens beneath them and pulls them in like a vortex. They come out somewhere else entirely, thrown out of a river into a world called Alethria. The rift doesn't stay open behind them. Alethria isn't a world that was waiting for them. It has its own peoples, its own history, its own conflicts, going back long before these fifteen showed up. Some of them already knew magic back on Asterios, and it just doesn't work here. Alethria runs on something I've been calling Wake energy, and whatever connection they have to it is dormant when they arrive. So even the ones who had real ability back home are starting from nothing. At first they're just fifteen people stranded somewhere they don't understand, trying to survive long enough to figure out where they are and whether getting home is even possible. Much later, the ones who survive get remembered as the Riftborn. That's where their story starts bleeding into the much larger history of Alethria, but I'm holding most of that back on purpose. Curious what people think of just this much, and what you'd want to know next.

I’m 34 years old . Ive never had kids and have always had a period every month . Sometimes I do skip a month but it’s rare and it’s usually some change going on in my life or body . My cycles are usually 30-35 days . I was recently diagnosed with PCOS because I noticed I wasn’t getting pregnant and was just using an app to aim for fertile window my only symptom was that I was constantly tired and my periods got lighter so I wondered if my hormones were bad and that’s when I found out I had PCOS with ultrasound. I started metformin 3 months ago and I did my first round of letrozole this month and my blood test confirmed I did not ovulate this cycle. My temp on Oura ring and natural cycles showed normal temps of ovulation . I feel sad that I’m not ovulating and because of my age I feel like my time is running out . My gyno did increase my letrozole dose for this cycle . Anyone else have similar experiences?

I just wanted to put it out there that there is an amateur radio club within walking distance of CSUMB. Back when Fort Ord was open they had a shortwave radio site that could communicate around the world, and when the base closed the property was given to the city of Marina. As a former CSUMB alum I had no idea it was there and would have been interested in checking it out long ago had I known about it. Located just past the stables on California Ave, the N6IJ site managed by MBARA has some interesting relics like a massive discone antenna. It's also a playground for experimenting with HF radio, electronics, and antennas and has a solar powered shack hosting a UHF amateur radio repeater which can do analog or digital modes, a GMRS repeater, and Meshcore/Meshtastic. MBARA does in person amateur radio license testing as well. GMRS is a licensed (but test-free) service and you can use the repeater to communicate all around the peninsula with a $25 radio. Meshcore is a neat unlicensed and completely off-grid IoT protocol for sending encrypted or unencrypted packets around the mesh. Currently there is coverage from San Francisco to San Luis Obispo, with Santa Rosa and Santa Maria starting to light up. MBARA is a non-profit and would be thrilled to have student engagement and/or an associated club. There will likely be other capstone opportunities as club projects come up.

Hi all, At about 8pm last night my compressor and fan stopped running. I did some troubleshooting but ultimately called a technician. He came out at 2pm today, and it finally started working at 430..this was due to a new fan motor. At the time the unit started working again, the downstairs was 80 and the upstairs was 86. Right now, after almost 4 hours of running, the downstairs is 77 and upstairs is 81. Not bad, however my concern is the temperature of the air coming from the vents. Right now I'm only getting 70/71 degrees. This is below the delta of 15. The technician said it would take all night for the coils to cool down again and the vent temperature to be 15-20 degree delta. Does this sound right? I would assume after 4 hours the coils should be cool? Is this because the house is extremely humid since no air was working for almost 24 hours? Thanks!

Just started testing an xTool F2 Ultra UV (5W / 355 nm) for surface marking on clear perfume bottles. I'm completely new to UV, so I'm still figuring out what is normal and what is just my setup. The main issue I'm running into is focus. **Because the bottles are clear, I've been having trouble getting consistent autofocus directly on the glass surface.** I've been putting a thin opaque piece of paper on the front surface, focusing on that, then removing it and compensating for the thickness. That gets me close, but I'm struggling with repeatability from bottle to bottle. Even a small change in bottle position or height seems to make a noticeable difference in the mark. My setup right now: \- xTool F2 Ultra UV, 5W / 355 nm \- Surface marking lens \- Clear perfume bottles \- Mostly flat front faces, but they curve away near the edges \- No rotary yet \- Exact glass composition is still being confirmed by the supplier A few questions for anyone doing glass regularly: 1. How are you focusing clear glass in practice? Do you use the paper/shim method every time, or once the setup is dialled in do you use a fixed-height jig, known shim, feeler gauge, or some other repeatable reference? I'm less worried about getting one bottle right than being able to put the next bottle in and get the same result. 2. How much curvature can you realistically mark before focus becomes a problem? Most of these bottles have a fairly flat centre section, but the surface starts curving away toward the sides. For a wider logo or design, do you keep the artwork inside the flatter area, split it into sections, or use a rotary / different setup? 3. What are you using to fixture bottles consistently? At the moment I'm more concerned about repeatable positioning than speed. I'm thinking about making a simple cradle or V-block style jig so every bottle sits at exactly the same height and angle. Is that basically what people do for small-batch production? 4. How much does the exact glass type matter with 355 nm UV? I'm still waiting for the supplier to confirm the glass composition. I've seen mixed information around different types of glass, so I'd be interested in what people have actually had success or problems with on perfume/cosmetic bottles. I'm not looking for exact power/speed settings — I'll run a test grid once I have the mechanical setup repeatable. Four times it kept its distance, but twice it was in close proximity to us. We decided to engage it those two times. The first combat encounter we killed it... or so we thought. The entity shattered into a few prismatic lumps. We noticed they would slowly writhe on the ground. As time went on, the movement of these masses would become more rapid and violent. Before we realized it, a sound similar to harmonic glass shattering pierced our ears and the masses turned into crystalline shards almost as tall as us. They hovered above us and attacked wildly. We lost a couple units to them, but we destroyed these new entities along with the same prismatic lump they were reduced to. 881719 had the bright idea to eat one of these masses. They described it as it felt like it was trying to move and change as it was being swallowed, later saying it was oddly filling and gave them a strange boost of energy once the sensations ended. We decided to call these entities "Observers" due to their tendencies to just... watch from a distance, unless provoked. Whether they're naturally occuring fauna, a failed experiment, perhaps even a bored God who found the most wonderful playthings to torment, approach these things with extreme caution. If combat is unavoidable, do not forget to destroy their masses as well. There's one thing thing that still bothers me. Before 881723 attempted suicide, we did an ammo count, 881723 was completely empty. After we stopped them we checked again, all ammo accounted for... except 881723 suddenly had one in the chamber. We haven't encountered any ammo boxes nor do we have the tools to fabricate ammo, so how did 881723 get a hold of a single round of 9mm? Could it be because of the Observers? Hi everyone, I recently graduated from UD, and over the past few years, I've become increasingly concerned about accountability and transparency at the University. I'm starting a long-term independent research project to document issues, controversies, policies, decisions, and personal experiences involving UD, especially during the post-COVID years, although I'm also looking at issues going back further. I genuinely believe UD is an important institution with a lot of good people, students, faculty, staff, researchers, and alumni. But I also believe that institutions with as much influence, public funding, and power as UD should have strong systems of accountability and meaningful public oversight. One area I'm particularly interested in is Delaware's public-records laws. UD receives millions of dollars in taxpayer funding, but Delaware's FOIA law restricts our (aka the public) ability to request records unlike how typical public, state-assisted universities can. I'm beginning to explore whether Delaware law should be changed to provide greater transparency and public access to certain University records and decision-making. But FOIA is only **one possible part** of what I'm working on. The broader question I'm trying to answer is: **How can we create stronger systems of accountability and oversight for higher education in Delaware, protect academic research and DEI, strengthen student rights, and make sure universities are more transparent with the communities they serve?** I'm building a large spreadsheet/database of issues that could help identify patterns and areas where reform may be needed. Sometimes one person's experience may reveal a policy or systemic problem that affects many other people. I'm still in the early stages of this project, and I don't have all the answers yet. But I want to build something evidence-based that could eventually contribute to real, long-term reforms in Delaware higher education. I installed another SSD and BIOS can see it, but it is not showing in File Explorer. I have not formatted anything yet because I do not want to make the wrong change. Is this normally fixed through Disk Management, or could it be something else?

In most Sri Lankan households, children/toddlers get rage baited into crying and then people laugh at them. The child would scream their head off, cause what else are they to do? They'd get called dramatic, overreacting, too sensitive, etc. when they're literally being a child. Children are supposed to learn emotional regulation from parents and surrounding adults. But if the adults laugh at them, and don't console them when crying, it's not fair to questions the teenager who keeps to themselves, doesn't show emotions, self-isolates.

Rewatching episode 1 and 2 after watching 3 recontextized everything. Every interaction makes sense when viewed knowing John Stewart's backstory. I'm wondering what it would be like if someone started with the 3rd episode then watched 1 and 2. The first scene where young John is watching Hal Jordan on TV and his brothers turning it off before the dad sees it makes sense now. And shooting the apple off his head is just a routine thing. Seeing him meeting up with Hal is a straight up continuation after he said we start on Monday. When he jumps from the car, you'd know he may have actually tried to kill him and took a chance. All their interactions knowing that they both know what's going on but they don't know if they know that they know puts it in perspective. At first it seemed like that's just how Hal is and that's his character. But nope, there's more to it. But on the other hand, maybe we wouldn't be rooting for Hal that much when he interrogated the alien. We would be distracted by the tension. And the whole manhunters plot will be shadowed.

The way my mom loved my dad breaks my heart. He was such a calm soul, and sometimes I wonder how he ended up with her crazy self, haha. She felt every ounce of emotion when it came to him. Maybe that's what he loved about her. I wonder if we were indeed an accident of love. Is that how it's supposed to be? It is one thing to have loved someone, but she is still in love with him after all the years he's been gone. Her eyes still light up as if their love story were just beginning. Compatibility is one thing, but chemistry that disrupts your dopamine levels is another. Why do we put ourselves in this position for love? Does that kind of love even exist today? Were our parents the last generation to experience distance when it comes to love? I am my parents' child. I want chemistry over compatibility, but I am stuck in a transactional dating market, so I sit here in solitude. I am not better than my matches; I just feel too deeply to be a match. Thanks, Mom.

If you are serious about UX as a field and not just as a concept, and if you want our field to have any future at all, you need to be the change. There is absolutely no excuse whatsoever to use a discretionary product with bad user experience, or from a company that despises UX as demonstrated by disproportionate layoffs, putting UX under the control of PM'ment or giving PMs de facto design authority, or imposes "unicorn" expectations on designers. Obviously some products you're stuck with. LinkedIn was basically designed by the bottom of the barrel but it's hard to avoid that hellscape when job searching. Government bureaucracies seem to revel in torturing citizens with bad websites, but opting out of following the law is tough to say the least. And a shitty mobile app is seldom reason enough to leave a financial institution. But anything remotely discretionary is on the table. Social media, entertainment, e-commerce, delivery, dating, whatever else, if you are giving your money or private data to this crap, you need to stop immediately. This won't change overnight. But social norms need to start coalescing around opting out. I can't take seriously anyone who refuses to use AI but then spends 4 hours per day on TikTok or Instagram. If companies believe they can make money with low-effort design, then you better believe they will continue doing it. Time to break the wheel. It starts here.

I had two reps remaining in my interval workout, and the rest just never ended. Tried to move it forward manually and nothing happened. I could pause or end, but nothing else. I know I would've crushed the final two reps and I know I'm being dramatic but I really wanted the satisfaction of a complete workout! 😭

I started getting calls simultaneously from different area codes and then voicemails and texts from what seems to be real people asking who I am or why I called THEM. It's been going on for over 20 min now and still going. It got to the point where I couldn't even use my phone because of how many calls I was getting. I had to change my settings to send unknown callers straight to voicemail. I haven't called anyone nor answered any calls. Unsure what is going on. I've gotten 71 calls in 25 minutes and still counting. Anyone seen this before?

\# Station Planner 2.6: Ship building support has been added. Performance and UI improvements, and big stations finally build upward This is my station planner for X4. It lives in the build menu. You tell it what you want a station to produce and it works out the rest: every intermediate ware, every module, the workforce, the storage, the cost. That fallback drops them into free space next to the station, attached to nothing. Some builds came out with a third of the design hanging in the void. It is off now. Everything the planner places is connected to the station. Whatever will not fit is listed for you to place by hand rather than quietly dumped beside the plot. \## Several times faster A large station used to take thirty to fourty minutes. It now takes 5-15 minutes. \## Two new settings, both off by default Both live in Extension Options, where they set what every design starts with. The second one is also on the planner itself, under More settings, so you can change it for the station in front of you. They exist for the same reason: stations were coming out flat. **Prefer modules that stack.** Housing goes down first and becomes the frame the rest of the station hangs off. The planner normally picks the largest habitat to keep the module count down, and for several races the largest habitat has no snap points on its top or bottom, so nothing can ever sit above it. Turn this on and it picks a habitat you can build on instead. More modules, but the station grows upward. **Use any race's connection modules.** Only twelve of the fifty connection structures in the game attach above or below anything, and they come two per race. Set the design to Argon and you get two of the twelve. Turn this on and the game gets all of them. Testing the same size of bill on an empty plot: 757 modules placed with one race's connectors, 1748 with everyone's. It costs a longer wait and your station will visibly be built from mixed parts, which is why it ships off. Most people want a station that looks like one race built it. \## Smaller things \- Extension Options settings survive a restart now. They were not being saved at all. \- The panel collapses to its title bar, using the square in its top right corner, so it stays out of the way of the holomap. \- The list keeps your scroll position instead of jumping to the top on every refresh. \- Each station remembers its own design. Switch to another station and back and your work is still there. \- Leave the build menu while a design is being placed, go and play, and come back to the progress rather than an empty planner. \## Notes Nothing is built and nothing is paid until you assign a builder, and you can still move or remove modules afterwards. A very large station takes five to fifteen minutes to place. The game keeps running while it works, so close the menu and carry on. SirNukes' Mod Support APIs is optional. Without it you lose the right-click menu entry and the options page. Everything else works. I would like to hear how the two new settings behave on your builds, especially whether the longer wait is worth it.

if i were to break intos someone home to rob them of their valuables and ended up alerting an alarm which immediately contacted the police and when the police arrived they found the person i was attempting to rob suffering from a deadly event like a stroke or an overdose which led to the person recovering with no permanent side effects would that negate my intent also this is just an example theres other examples
