Ok so funny story. I was just leaving my local record store when I found a couple of boxes outside. The owner said they were all free so I went ahead and dug through them all. I was really surprised when I found this album in one of the boxes. And what’s also surprising is that the record was in great shape despite how the cover looked. So this is why you don’t sleep on free stuff outside the store because sometimes you can become lucky and find some really nice gems.

It might be a stretch, but I found it interesting that Colin keep glancing at Pen here. He only glanced at Marina once but he looked over at Pen several times. Yes, people generally do look around at their audience as they tell a story but he glanced at her more than everyone else. He only glanced at two people. What do you think? I am thinking it's because of their closeness. He glanced at her more than everyone else.

I just read this comment under a video of this hostess testifying in the Lindsay Clancy trial and it genuinely baffles me that people can even think this way. Basically, Lindsay called to order food from this restaurant, Patrick picks it up, shows Patrick was not home at the time and Lindsay was stable enough to order food. Then this comment thread starts with, “But this proves nothing. She doesn’t know Lindsay’s voice it could have been any women. And I don’t even see how she could even remember this specific call” “Dedicated Mobile Apps: Use apps like MagicCall on Android or iOS. These apps route the call through their own internet-based dialer, letting you switch to a female, kid, or cartoon voice and add background sound effects like traffic or music Just sayin'” “YOU ARE SO RIGHT! All he had to do was be like "hey Rachel° would u do me a favor would u call 3V and place an order for me" like these people genuinely believe this, like holy shit we’ve been watching too many crime documentaries, she literally plead guilty. this trial isn’t even about whether she killed them or not, and people can’t even grasp that! it’s just frustrating something this tragic turned into a male-hate train and a piece of gossip/theory conversation.

I have been trying to fix my 2009 Jeep commander 3.7l v6. It's been blowing a crap ton of white smoke out the exhaust since I got it in 2024. I was DIY fixing it and had just fixed some O2 sensors and the 5th cylinder spark plug (which was coated with oil), it had random misfires during those 2 years and I just kept riding it like that. I took some mechanic classes at job corps as a teen but I only know a few basics. Should I throw the towel? I was thinking maybe I could engine swap it myself using videos and AI, I mean people in the 70s used to do this crap on their own using a manual.

I recently finished DMing a DnD campaign with some friends. In this campaign there was a point where my players went to a shady night club. In this night club, I threw in a throw away character named “DJ Pisswater”. He played music in the night club and would periodically come on over the mic and say “D-d-d-d DJ Pisswaterrrr.” My players asked what he looked like and I told them he was a skeleton, a necromancers construct if you will. Anyways, he quickly became a favorite NPC, because of course he did, and so that gave me an idea. I decided to make shitty beats and music to help better immerse my players. It was actually a really fun experience and made my players laugh a lot. I highly recommend it if you want a good laugh with your players. Anyways, I’m happy to announce that DJ Pisswater can now be found on SoundCloud for all who are interested. There are 5 songs that I thought were “good” enough to release. Feel free to give it a listen. https://on.soundcloud.com/09EBE1Z8aOmjOMmnQv

I’ve been looking more closely at importing products into Houston, and one thing that seems easy to underestimate is the difference between the supplier price and the actual landed cost. A quote can look great (the prices), but freight, customs, brokerage, port charges, inland transportation, packaging, inspection, and other expenses can change the calculation quickly. The supplier with the lowest unit price may not necessarily be the cheapest option overall. So when comparing suppliers online, I’ve found it useful to look beyond the headline price and collect a few basic details first: * Unit price at the intended quantity * MOQ and carton quantity * Carton dimensions and gross weight * Packaging specifications * Production lead time * Incoterm being offered * Estimated freight cost * Product documentation or certification requirements * Previous experience exporting to the US Carton dimensions and weight seem especially important for smaller shipments. A product might have an attractive unit price but become expensive to move if the packaging takes up considerably more space than expected. I also think a simple landed-cost spreadsheet can prevent some surprises. I’d separate product cost, international freight, customs-related expenses, local transportation, and a small allowance for unexpected charges. For Houston importers, I’m particularly curious about the costs that appear after a shipment reaches the port. Someone who is new to importing might focus heavily on the supplier quote and freight estimate without fully understanding what happens between port arrival and getting the goods to their final destination. I’m still interested in how different importers approach this because I suspect the calculation varies significantly depending on the product, shipment size, Incoterms, and whether someone uses a freight forwarder or handles parts of the process themselves. For those who regularly import through Houston, what costs or mistakes have you found are most often overlooked when calculating the true landed cost?

I just got broken up with, please share funny pictures of you kitties 😭

Greetings. The driver's door won't open. After popping open the top of the door panel enough to take a look, I discovered that one of the two cables that go from the inside handle to the lock mechanism was disconnected from said mechanism. Here's where I'm stuck... I can't see exactly where it's disconnected from. My angle of visibility is very limited. Any suggestions??

What a view from the top of mountains What a joy to touch the sky When you saw the world for miles And make a footstool of your pride It’s not hard to lose your breath When you’re humbled by a view Seeing millions of different lives Play out in front of you Yet there’s something so much harder When a weight is on your back To try to lift your neck to see Just a sliver, just a crack Somehow the vision shrinks Looking closer to the ground With demands and plans you carried Wasn’t sure where they were found So you search the ground for tools Just to chip away at rocks Breaking down the very mountain That was your building block Now you stand on ground that’s flat It’s a new terrain to view Can’t watch all of the people When they’re looking eye to eye with you So grab your tools together Fill up your own backpack Walk through the crowded desert Until you find your own way back

Landship irl

Brilliant move but why?
