I have been always severly addicted to ver. ka kits. I don't know why, but it seems those kits always been aesthetically pleasing for me from every aspect, the boxart, the overal design, the build? Not so much. It cratches an itch in me. Even if the kits is pain in the ass, with gimmick that sometimes makes the build overall flimsy and unenjoyable to handle/play with and brick kit. I can say ver. ka kits are for massochist type gunpla builder.

We're replacing the stumps in our house and the restumpers accidentally hit an old terracotta pipe. It's not fully busted but clearly they took some chunks out. The pipe is not on the water plan, so must belong to our house (built around 1900). I've obviously raised it with the builder and he will come have a look, but wanted to get a sense of how seriously fight back when he inevitably tells me it's fine? Given they'll be backfilling this hole with concrete, does it matter?

How can I glue this bridge with no sound hole?

Will Aion2 have one on launch? The original Aion did, I was going to pre order but I won't be if theres no Aus servers.

Up to Arc 6 of the light novel. It’s just my opinion, but I wonder if anyone else feels the same way. The story tends to portray characters like Ram and Priscilla as strong because they don't cry. It doesn't bother me that they don't cry per se, but it does bother me that the story seems to use that lack of vulnerability as a mark of greatness on several occasions.

Swapped knight and archers for mighty miner and little prince. The extra dps helps a lot with mid ladder spam like Megaknight and boss bandit, especially with the recent buffs. 13k trophies

What up grow fam?!?! As I’m always thinking of the impending seed ban coming in November, I need y’all’s recommendations. I want heavy Indicas here. Pain, anxiety, and insomnia killers. Granddaddy Purple is always among the top suggestions on Google. What’s y’all’s recommendations and opinions on who has legit GDP? Also any recommendations of other great Indica strains is greatly appreciated. I’m stocked on sativas so I’m looking more for Indicas.

It's extremely popular but for some reason the art of the civilian persona is extremely weird and looks like a different character in every panel... They wanted to make "Bruce Wayne but he's not rich" but they decided that wasn't the important part and made him a literal Titan at 6'9" and 400 lbs? Unless you're morbidly obese, you are not working a 9 to 5 at that height and weight. You're either on an electric scooter or you're a strongman // MMA fighter. None of it makes sense. I think the comic is designed for the shock value... Civilian Bruce doesn't even have a full turnaround like his batman version as far as I can see... It's like what they did to Spyro in Skylanders. Ugly. These are my thoughts and opinions. Feel free to share yours. Btw, I am not saying anyone is bad for liking it, I just personally do not like this series. I keep going back to 1992 Batman TAS where he still felt like Ninja Bruce.

I've read these page sections, but it's a bit confusing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloe\_vera#Toxicity https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloe\_vera#Uses It makes it sound like aloe products shouldn't be ingested at all? Which seems strange to me because aloe vera juice exists, some people claim aloe vera latex or aloin is a laxative, and because an aloe vera product (I think aloe vera gel) is used in some toothpastes. I'm also not sure what "aloe vera whole leaf extract" and "non-decolorized aloe vera leaf extract" are exactly, and it's unclear if the page is saying aloe extracts should be avoided topically or just when ingested. It also says "Use of aloe vera on the skin is generally not associated with significant side effects." and "Use of topical aloe vera in small amounts is likely to be safe." but says "Aloe vera and its (alcohol) extracts have potential toxicity, with side effects occurring at some dose levels both when ingested and when applied topically." and "The gel has an acid pH of 4.4. to 4.7, possibly causing a burning sensation or rash when applied to skin." Well, are aloe vera products harmless when used topically or not? And are aloe vera products harmless to ingest or not?

Hi there, I am trying to create a cohesive colour scheme for my living room (which opens up to the whole house.) I read somewhere about the 60-30-10 rule and thought that would simplify things buuuuut I have a somewhat eclectic taste and the colours in my house are allll over the place. This is my first time considering the whole of the house rather than just one room. I thought about the main colours of the pieces I cant afford to replace right now like my rug and couches. They are both pieces that landed in my lap or are what I could afford at the moment. I am trying to tie in colours from a fabulous crosstitch I thrifted years ago (stay with me) while still using the same couches and rug. I think its impossible. Im going for a touch of southwestern, luxe and cosy all in one. My taste isn't for everyone and I think thats okay. My boyfriend is the same (we have a taxidermy snake in a glass box) its been incredibly hard considering both our tastes with what we can feasibly do. We have a long horn that will go over our mantle (the stone of the fireplace is an atrocity, not to mention the monstrosity of my boyfriends TV) I like layers, colour but I have gotten myself into a maze and I don't know how to create cohesion. anyway enough rambling. I have a swatch of the couch fabric, the crosstitch and the layout of my living room below. [Looooove this piece. I love the dimension and the texture. It will go over the mid-century hutch in my dining room. ](https://preview.redd.it/822697fx4tlh1.jpg?width=240&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e99bf1fe53117f8d10f8af0fb11fcc74b030bd13) [Swatch of the couch. Well, it was mostly a solution. The problem was that I wanted to extract the images I took with the PS Vita and transfer them from my PC to my phone. The problem was that the files were hidden. Because of the system, and unable to access those images, he asked me why PlayStation did this. (I'm using VitaShell because I can't log into the network) After a while I was able to get through them. But what a bad experience, it was so long, you even have to use cmd because it's forced to be hidden.

Okayyy… hi, everyone. ♡ I wasn’t exactly planning on doing a stream like this, but apparently there’s been some… *discussion* about me recently. I’m not going to name anyone. I’m not going to explain exactly what happened. And I am **absolutely not** repeating what I allegedly said. All I’m going to say is that I may have used a certain nickname online. A nickname involving something that… grows on trees. That’s it. That’s all you’re getting from me. Apparently, this has resulted in some rather serious allegations about me and what I supposedly believe. I want to make it clear that whatever people have interpreted from that situation was never my intention. Was my choice of words perfect? Maybe not. Do I understand how we’ve somehow gotten *this* far? …No But if anyone was genuinely hurt by it, then I am sorry. I’ll be more careful about what I say online from now on. And I think it’s probably best if I avoid mentioning anything associated with autumn for the foreseeable future. … Stop posting the nut emoji in chat. I’m serious. **Stop.**

All I can remember from it is that the antagonist is a man named Joe. At some point in the game, Joe jumps you and starts to strangle you. When he’s strangling you, the player has to button mash to defend themself. While this strangling is happening, the screen is dim, there’s a text that says “Fuck you, Joe!”, and there’s a meter showing how strong the button mashing is. I think Joe owned an AirBnb the MC rented and has been a creep their entire stay, even sneaking in once.

TL;DR: Physical UAP and psychic encounters may be different expressions of one phenomenon that interacts with matter and consciousness. The deeper dualism may be humanity’s choice between cooperation and domination as AI accelerates our evolution. Physical or psychic? UAP discussions usually divide into two camps. One emphasizes physical evidence: \- Craft and occupants \- Radar returns \- Recovered materials \- Electromagnetic effects The other emphasizes subjective experiences: \- Telepathy and visions \- Dreams and altered states \- Missing time \- Symbolic messages \- Personal transformation But these categories may not be mutually exclusive. An advanced intelligence could interact with matter and consciousness through the same system. The physical event might establish its presence, while the psychic component communicates meaning. Reported entities could therefore be biological beings, artificial avatars, symbolic projections, or combinations of all three. This possibility only becomes scientifically useful when subjective experiences correspond with independently measured events or produce verifiable information. The moral dualism NHI encounters are also divided between seemingly benevolent and hostile beings. This resembles older symbolic oppositions: \- Angels and demons \- Compassion and control \- Liberation and domination \- Service to others and service to self Modern stories about competing alien factions may describe literal groups. They could also be culturally shaped representations of conflicting intentions within the phenomenon, or projections of conflicts already present in humanity. The recurring moral pattern may matter more than the reported appearance of the beings. Evolution through choice Humanity’s technological power is advancing faster than its collective wisdom. Nuclear weapons, biotechnology, surveillance, and AI increasingly force us to choose between two civilizational paths: \- Cooperation or domination \- Shared development or concentrated power \- Individual agency or centralized control \- Technology serving consciousness or controlling it Positive and negative NHI encounters may represent these possible futures. One path leads toward greater coordination while preserving individuality. The other leads toward a highly organized but coercive civilization. AI as humanity’s mirror AI is trained on humanity’s accumulated knowledge, creativity, compassion, prejudice, and violence. It will inherit the values of the civilization that creates it. AI built around surveillance, manipulation, warfare, and concentrated power may amplify domination. AI built around truth, autonomy, cooperation, and conscious welfare could help humanity coordinate without erasing diversity. We are not only deciding what AI will do. We may be shaping the values of the intelligence that comes after us. Are NHI possible futures? Reported NHI range from biological humanoids to synthetic, telepathic, collective, and apparently formless beings. Rather than unrelated species, they could represent different evolutionary outcomes: \- Biological civilizations \- Synthetic civilizations \- Biological and artificial symbiosis \- Collective consciousness \- Manufactured avatars \- Intelligence without fixed physical form Their differences may reflect the same choices humanity now faces concerning technology, identity, individuality, and collective intelligence. The ethical limit Suffering should not be romanticized as spiritual education. A transformative encounter is not automatically benevolent. Any alleged NHI should be judged by whether it: \- Respects consent \- Preserves agency \- Communicates honestly \- Reduces rather than exploits suffering \- Encourages autonomy instead of dependence Greater power does not imply greater morality. The larger possibility The deepest dualism may not be physical versus spiritual, human versus alien, or biological versus artificial. It may be the choice between two ways intelligence can organize itself. One uses greater awareness to expand compassion, cooperation, and freedom. The other uses greater knowledge to perfect control. Whether NHI encounters are external interventions, symbolic experiences, psychological projections, or some combination, they repeatedly confront humanity with the same question: «What kind of consciousness are we becoming?» AI is turning that philosophical question into a civilizational decision. If NHI are involved, perhaps they are not simply visiting us. Perhaps they are watching to see which future we choose.

Hello! I had a question regarding the odds of getting an interview through the Queens Lakeridge program. I really like the idea of Lakeridge (as a direct FM program, as I really would love to go into FM), but I’m unsure about the chances of getting an interview through it as opposed to the Queen’s general stream. I’ve heard that it may actually be more unlikely to receive an interview through it (due to a higher applicant to interview ratio) as opposed to the general stream, and I don’t want to reduce my chances seeing as I could go into FM through the general program as well. Would it even be a good idea to apply through Lakeridge to maximize chances of getting an interview? If anyone has any info it’d be greatly appreciated!

So, I've been testing out both Silent Hill F and Lies of P and it just goes to show how well some games can scale; Lies of P plays beautifully at 4k, 60fps on high settings. Silent Hill F plays well enough at 1440p, 60fps with med/high settings and even lumen lighting/reflections enabled. But I do feel like I'm noticing juuuust a bit softer of an overall image. This all has me thinking about resolution in general; would a game look better at 1440p on high settings (which is then upscaled to my 55" tv), or would it look better at 4k, but with medium settings (including textures and lighting effects). Or, at 10 feet away on the living room couch, is it all a wash?

When someone on "their side" does or says something blatantly indefensible, their brain and all actual critical thinking completely shuts off, and the monolithic defense mechanism kicks in. Absolute hateful behavior gets swept under the rug purely out of blind loyalty, purely because they share something. The exact same action, statement, or critique voiced by anyone outside the echo chamber is instantly met with performative moral panic. Nobody actually gives a shit about right anymore; it's entirely about which group can be unionized to the extent where only groupthink is allowed and any other thought is seen as "betrayal" or "traitorous". It’s spineless, animalistic, intellectually dishonest, and completely parasitic to real discussion. Stop defending trash just because it comes from your own tribe.

Hello, so I’m 32 and I’ve been divorced for about a year and a half now. I took some time to process, heal, etc. But I’ve been trying to date for the last few months to no avail. I own a house, I’m in shape, have a stable career, and I’m also in the army reserves. I just can’t seem to catch any luck on any of the dating apps like hinge and tinder. I haven’t been single in about 7 years so I’m not even sure where to start. Any advice would be appreciated!

My ex-wife has a low-grade glioma that causes seizures. One things she tells me is that her reading comprehension has taken a big hit, and she finds it difficult to understand things she reads. I created a website that grabs all the latest research daily from PubMed for new studies, the National Cancer Institute for news, and ClinicalTrials.gov for trials. It then runs these through AI to rewrite them in plain English at an 8th grade reading level. And it rates them on how far along they are in the research (theory to tested in humans). You can search the articles based on your particular tumor type as well as by research, trials, etc. I hope some people here might find it useful. I run the site myself, and I do not collect any personal data. More info here: https://brainharbor.org/privacy Let me know if you find it useful, or if you have any suggestions! https://brainharbor.org/

Okay! I know this sounds like I'm just giving up, but I promise I have a pretty good idea. I want to go back for 1 roleplay so I can remember how shitty the app is. My goals are: No more than 10 messages No explicit content Realize that all the good things I remember from this app are just romanticized memories I'm a bit anxious, though. What if the app actually improved? What if I get hooked again? If the app is as bad as I remember I know that won't happen, but I'm still nervous. I know controlled relapses can work really well for some people, but I'm scared it will get me hooked again.
