Damn, I killed this, but in a good way. I found some of the best looking beef short ribs I’ve seen in a long time and thought that I hadn’t made this in a long time. It’s my take on it, so I know I didn’t use all the traditional ingredients or methods. Staub croquette for the beef burgundy, Griswold for the mushrooms, and a no-name chef pan for the broccolini. Used most of a bottle of Pinot Noir from Cristom. It’s a tough sacrifice but I’ve found that it’s necessary. To complete the decadence, I finished it with some rogue valley blue cheese.

I was thinking about why emotional moments in Lotm hit so hard... I think it's all because the way cuttlefish writes the climax scenes like...He changes from whatever character Pov to a 3rd person pov and describes the scenesin a nonchalant fashion... like just describing the visual aspects of the scenes not their emotions but the reactions that occurs by those emotions...we spent a long time with the characters in the novel so even if it wasn't spelt out to us we know what they are feeling by those actions...it paints a picture in our head and that stimulates the mammalian brain that influences us in a deeper level and creates a subconscious feeling underneathrather than just sad on the surface... this affects the reader on a deeper level than just describing those emotions... Take for example the infamous ridiculous smile scene from end of Vol 1...... when Klein gave the flower to Melissa He doesn't say anything... nor does cuttlefish gives us what klein was thinking at the moment... he just describes the scene in a nonchalant fashion and leaves the reader to feel it...He just describes the clown coming upto melissa and giveing her that flower and flashed a "happy smile, an exaggerated smile, a ridiculous smile" we don't get any explanation but a very detailed description of the scene... but we know that Klein is feeling Sad...the wider the smile greater the pain... Or the scene when Leonard tells Melissa and Benson about Klein's death... we don't get their emotional description but just the description of the scene of Benson going to the washroom and leaving the tap open... the tickets slipping from Melissa's hands and getting more reserved... So here's my concern... how are they going to do this in the Donghua... like how... if they are going to animate every detailed description of actions in the novel is it going to stir the same emotions... for example Klein's ridiculous smile... like if they animate a ridiculous smile in that moment... wouldn't it look funny... is it going to stimulate emotions as in the novel or is it just going to look funny.. Honestly, i get mixed feelings on this... I'm very excited as how they are going to do that... but also a little skeptical too What do you guys think?? Regardless I trust cuttlefish to give justice to this scene...

Is there a way to write a single automation that looks collectively at all things labeled as "Battery" as a trigger and if any of them are below a threshold, trigger a message that tells me which one? 26F. 5’4”. 128lbs. No medications. No current medical issues. 3am woke up to use the bathroom, dizzy and then I fainted, smacked my head, remember thinking I can't control my body, and could hardly move when I woke up on the floor. I had to crawl to my bedroom. I've come to my own conclusion that I had fainted from my pcos causing low blood sugar. This has never happened to me before but the women in my family started having fainting spells around my arn BUT what I can't figure out is if I had a seizure. I have marks from where I hit my forehead, but one is horizontal and the other is parallel. It makes me feel like it's evidence from the initial hit and a possible seizure. Also, I went back today to where I fell, and the angle of my would lines up only if my head were facing left, but when I ca can't to, my head was facing the opposite direction. As if I had moved after the fall, but before I came to. During the incident, I remember I couldn't open my eyes, I couldn't control my body, and when I finally came to enough to realize I had fainted and hit my head, I had to crawl to my bed. My body was weak and it felt like I just did a full body workout. I'm pretty sure I know why I fainted, low blood sugar. I'm pretty sure I'm concussed, l've had almost all the symptoms. But I can't figure out if I had a seizure or not, is any of what I mentioned early sounding like evidence of a seizure?

So the woman who lives across the street from me has two large dogs, German shepherd and husky. I’ve never actually seen them because they are always crated in the house. Sometimes maybe 10 minutes a day the German shepherd goes outside. But she told me the husky is aggressive and they were afraid he would bite their young child and so the husky stays in his cage. Neither dog ever gets a walk, and the only reason I know this dog exists is because she told me and I saw the cage once when I dropped something off at her house. She said she posted on FB to get him adopted and just got hate comments, but I don’t think it’s an excuse for keeping this animal locked up in a cage. I am not close with this neighbor and honestly for a whole other reason related to her having stolen from multiple people in our neighborhood we don’t really talk… I know it’s not my business or even legal to do anything but it is so tempting to put an ad for the dog to get adopted by someone who will actually love and train him and just put her phone number on the ad… What would you do in this scenario?

What club sports at CSULB is open to beginners? I’m hoping to join a club sport in the fall but I’m not sure which one yet. I did swim and water polo in hs but I wasn’t anywhere close to the best, but I did enjoy it. I’ve had some interest in rowing or rugby but have no experience with either. I don’t have a car so if any practices aren’t on campus I’m unsure how easily I can attend. Has anyone here done any of these sports? How did you like it? I find online RE estimators really unreliable when comparing estimates to actual sale prices. Often completely illogical. Can someone explain the algorithms and why you'd get such inaccurate valuations? (See example below).... Also a lot of people on here say the range is x so I'm going to offer based on this....these are a good example of why you shouldn't rely on these gustimates as a vendor or purchaser, use your own recent sales of comparables as a basis: 2 x apartments sold 1 yr apart, same block, same layout, same spec (except the cheaper est one has tandem carapace and is on higher rlevel) bur significantly different and illogical estimates values: Apartment 11: 2/2/2 (higher lvl, double parking), sold 1.7m in 2022, mid estimate is 1.62m (ie it has lost value) Apartment 11: https://www.domain.com.au/property-profile/11-145-151-campbell-street-surry-hills-nsw-2010 Apartment 6: 2/2/1 (same spec, layout but lower lvl and 1 car space), sold 2023 1.49 (so less than Apartment 11), mid estimate is 1.8m so not only has it increased where the other has fallen in value (despite being purchased earlier) but apparently worth 200k more than apartment 11 that is 2 lvls above it with 2 carspaces. Hello! I picked up this handsome fella today but he REEEKS. I understand he is a skunk and they are naturally gonna smell pretty yucky as a piece but this guy is stinking up the room he's in and he hasn't even been in there that long. I have an 80 gallon compressor good for 35cfm. I had to completely redo everything in the cabinet that wasn’t the body: I.e. all new glass, weather stripping, wiring, lighting, etc. I also purchased a foot pedal operated gun from TP tools and new air filters, etc. what do I need to do to have seamless media reclamation? Hi! So I started master duel quite a while ago and I currently play it on the steam version. However, I stopped for a good bit because I didn't like the type of decks I was facing at gold/plat, but I was satisfied with my rank at the time. Now coming back, I find it hard to even escape Bronze 1/Silver 5. I fully understand its due to how I used my resources and going with the decks that I did. Pictured below are the decks I used the most back when I was playing and actually found pretty good results from them. Not listed is a god-card deck but I don't recall having much success with that one. But in the current meta and such, I'm fighting decks that're just way out of my league I feel. How would I go about building/getting a deck that I can climb again with? Ideally it's not too expensive due to my resources right now: 196 N, 562 R, 92 SR, 42 UR I'm willing to dismantle some cards/deck if need be. I also have around 1k gems and saw that there were many more structure decks now compared to when I played, are any of those a good option for long-term use? While Harriet would spoil and even revel in her daughters' meanness to others (as long as they didn't personally humiliate her to others), Corabeth seemed to treat her adoptive daughter Aimee as a toy to be picked up when she was bored and the poor girl often seemed overwhelmed by her new mother's pretentiousness and would seek out the Waltons' advice. But then again, Aimee had memories of her birth parents so that may have made a difference. FWIW, the Little House kids and the Walton kids befriended each other early on and have stayed at least cordial down the decades but I have no idea whether the late Katharine MacGregor ever got to compare notes with the late Ronnie Claire Edwards.

Just wrapped and released The Waves of Madness - a surreal, black-and-white horror flick inspired by 1930s monster movies and old-school side-scrolling games. The whole thing plays out like one continuous side-view shot, kind of like watching a haunted video game unfold. We made it for $20K, shot entirely in my tiny studio apartment with a 3-person crew (including me). I built all the sets digitally on my computer from thousands of photos and video plates I shot and I handled every bit of post-production myself. It’s definitely a weird one, but if you're into no-budget filmmaking, experimental formats, or just figuring out how to make something big with next to nothing - I’d love to talk shop.
