Hello everyone, A couple of days ago, I noticed that my Google Nest Hub (1st gen) started showing a weird band-like saturation effect across the display. None of my settings were any different, and after some semi-helpful Google searching, I did a factory reset on the device. The band-like saturation effect is gone, BUT the pictures on the display (from my Google Photos library) now appear a little duller than normal, and the on-screen text (showing current date, time, and weather conditions) is slightly pixelated. I have no idea how to even *begin* to look for a solution to this problem. Has anybody experienced anything remotely like this? The device itself responds to voice prompts normally, and timers and alarms work as normal. But the rotating Google Photos display, which was/is a big deal for me, is sticking in my craw. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly!

I go Morris County Community College right now and I’m certain I can maintain a 3.8-3.9 gpa for the rest of the semester. Can anyone help me please? My daughter is 6 and has very fine and soft hair that tangles super easily. Her hair reaches mid of her back and it tangles on the surface and also the deeper layers tangle too. It’s so bad that yesterday I had to cut off a part that was tangled around a hair tie (mind you the hair tie is the curly one that doesn’t damage the hair). I’m using a mild shampoo, conditioner, detangling leave in spray and vitamin e and I wash her hair twice a week. I brush it with the detangling brush and make braids before bed. I’m at my wits end because I don’t know what else to do. Anyone dealing with this too? I have fine hair too but it definitely doesn’t tangle that much. 🙏 thanks for some insights!

Objectively, to a mental chill mind, I’m doing better. I’m gaining weight, I’m eating more, and I’m not so fuckin’ frail looking. To the rational part of my brain, I’m happy because recovery means I get to stay around a little longer, have more fun times with my loved ones, and live a little better. But, of course, to the mentally ill part of me that’s felt this way for more than half of my life, this sucks. I’m sitting here in the Taco Bell Drive through right now just pissed at myself for buying food, but also excited because I’m HUNGRY. I was never happy with the way I looked even at my LW, and now that I’m a little bit heavier, I feel worse than I ever have, but I function better than I have in a long time. Hi! A while back now I took in a kitten(Gus). For a few weeks we slept together every night and there were no problems at all. Until i decided to adopt him a friend(Margo). Margo is up all night running around, pawing at my blinds, meowing, playing. I know it’s just normal cat things but I’m a very light sleeper and I just can’t handle it. I decided to put her in another room but that led to her basically howling and pawing at the door. I figured she didn’t wanna be alone so I put Gus with her. This was the only thing that silenced her and made her seem comfortable. I’m starting to feel guilty for Gus is the issue. I want them both to be able to sleep happily with me but I feel especially bad taking it away from Gus when he does perfectly fine with it. When I put them into the other room Gus practically fights me to come sleep with me and it breaks my heart :( Any advice??

My Asus Vivobook Flip S14 performs great when it’s plugged in super smooth and responsive. But as soon as I unplug it, even if it’s in performance mode, it noticeably slows down, which is pretty frustrating. It’s like it’s holding back on power just because it’s running on battery. Is there any way to get the same level of performance without being plugged in? I’d rather have full power and just charge more often if that’s what it takes. Any settings or tips to help with this?
