The risks of low tier are way greater than that of high tiers because EVEN IF your high tier environment is toxic, you could still leverage the opportunities offered by your school, which is something that low tier environments don't. You get way more resources to help you in academics. But yeah maybe I went overboard with "they are living the life" because afterall I'm not really representative for all high tier student being a current high tier myself (big 3 uni)

I really don't recommend anyone to go to low tier schools at this point. Im not even joking, it's either you go to an elite school, or you just don't go to school at all and self study. In my case, I only messed up my national exams because my environment was very toxic and unhealthy. I really couldn't study at all, no matter how much time or effort I put in. YIJC is really dogshit icl, especially that lecture example I gave, atp you are better off just self studying and not even coming to school. I don't ever want to be reminded that I came from that trash school where my mental health was damaged because of it. I really could not think of one thing about the school that was actually positive despite spending 20 minutes thinking of a pro where YIJC has that other JCs don't. In short, don't come to YIJC, absolute time waster

Yeah films and TV definitely show the edited funny stuff. Not the gross toilets, or the crying girl sitting alone, or 3am and the people you were supposed to be ride sharing with have just vanished after a drunken argument and you don't know if you should just try to get a taxi by yourself. That's not fun, it's scary. One urban myth when I was in my 20s was a bunch of people had a night out in a UK city (I'm British) and woke up in Ibiza, party island in the Mediterranean. Funny AF, logistics and finances of getting back were not part of the urban legend because that would be incredibly tedious. The most sensible person there would have had a horrible time sorting it out. maybe the existence of sports clubs depend on where you live? martial arts, for example, or a low key team sport which isn't too competitive and is just for fun. look at your local gym or local advertising to find one that might suit you and give it a go. Pick something a bit weird instead of standard. otherwise, a live music scene, preferably a bit niche, will get you a few fun anecdotes. take friends with you. getting into slightly chaotic fun isn't something that you just drop into. It's not a job application. You need to get to know slightly chaotic people. the "party scene" for sensible people is frankly dull, unless you get a kick out of babysitting people who are totally wrecked because you're the only sober-ish person there. Fun sht happens with people you know. You come across as a bit stiff and uptight. the person who says "are we allowed to do this?" Relax, don't rely on alcohol to do the relaxing for you. It's fun, not a tick box exercise.

Honestly, go and have a conversation with the guy once the heat has settled. Explain to him your situation that you are a medical patient, but you fully understand and sympathise with him as you have a child yourself. Possibly ask to exchange numbers and ask for a polite text whenever he has the kids coming so you can arrange another spot to take your medicine, just try and come to and understandable agreement for all parties, if he is being sound about it, you try to be as well, otherwise, reciprocate the same energy you get back 🤷🏽‍♂️

Veazy, i had an XMAX Pro V3 and whilst it was good, the Veazy is next level, S&B are renowned for their good production, great engineering, and have been around for like 25 years so that’s why i went for the Veazy, also all the accessories are sooo cheap compared to other vapes, want some dosing caps? here’s like 40 for £10, chamber is nice and big, and once you dial your temps in you’ll probably never touch the app, but honestly great vapouriser, and do not regret it one bit, S&B know what their doing, and this vape ticks all the boxes for someone whose looking for something above entry level, but that’s just my opinion, also personally i don’t like the all glass airpath on the Arizers, my XQ2 always seems to have a certain ‘taste’ to it my other vapes don’t, again great device though nonetheless, but imo go for the Veazy, bcos inevitably you’ll end up buying one or a Mighty or Crafty, if you want solid vapour production and a device from a company who have been at the top of the DHV game for years, then you will be happy with the Veazy, it’s my go to everyday, only downside is battery, but that can be solved by buying like a 10,000mah power bank for very cheap! good luck! this is the start of the rabbit hole

This comment needs to be much higher. The fact that you only have one car and need enough gas in the tank so you can get to work is the real issue. Charging her by the mile sounds weird until you know this info.

I doubt it's money laundering or visa mills it's just insanely profitable. It's just a huge profit margin business with an incredibly addictive product and costs next to nothing to run a store. A bottle of vape juice costs about 50 cents to make (or google AI says $6 wholesale) but sell for $25-30 a bottle and you only need 1 or 2 rostered employees and a small storefront which rent is at most $30k for the smaller ones (there's a 12m2 commercial space in Mt Eden for just $12k a year). Assuming it costs say $150k to run a small place you only need to sell maybe 20 bottles of juice a day to break even. About 12% of the country vapes, that's 200,000~ people in Auckland alone each spending $50~ a month on just e-liquid which is $120 million a year.

And I'm saying that's not up to you. Look, you've said your piece leave the girl alone. You being in a relationship doesn't make you the expert on love nor dictating what is best for everyone else.

Du hast deine Sorgen ruhig und aus Liebe angesprochen, und trotzdem wurden sie heruntergespielt oder gegen dich gedreht („du suchst Drama“, „dann verlass mich doch“). Das ist ein Warnsignal, weil eine stabile Beziehung davon lebt, dass beide Sorgen des anderen ernst nehmen können. Gerade bei möglichen Suchtproblemen ist Offenheit wichtig. Das bedeutet nicht automatisch, dass sie abhängig ist, aber Verdrängen oder Abwehren macht die Situation nicht besser. Damit muss man gemeinsam arbeiten können. Ein Kind würde die Belastung nicht verringern, sondern erhöhen: weniger Schlaf, mehr Verantwortung, mehr Stress und weniger Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Wenn man schon jetzt bei einem schwierigen Thema nicht gemeinsam ins Gespräch kommt, sollte man sich ehrlich fragen, wie man mit den zusätzlichen Herausforderungen durch ein Kind umgehen würde. Ich würde deshalb nicht sofort sagen „Trennung“, aber ich würde sehr genau prüfen, ob ihr wirklich als Team funktioniert. Liebe allein reicht nicht, Vertrauen, Ehrlichkeit und die Fähigkeit, Probleme gemeinsam zu lösen, sind genauso wichtig.

Schwierige Situation! Mein Rat, das Thema Kinder und Heirat erst einmal nach hinten schieben. Es muß geklärt werden, ob sie ein Problem mit dem Alkohol hat. Zumal sie es vor Dir verheimlichen sucht. Eine Bierflasche im Kleiderschrank zu verstecken ist nicht normal! Sie weiß sehr genau, dass sie damit ein Problem hat. Hier etwas zu empfehlen, ohne das man die Personen persönliche kennt, ist bei dieser Situation nicht seriös. Geh bitte zu einer professionellen Beratung.
